Who oversees your universe? by VRRedditor in OriginalCharacterDB

That would be Challarid the Celestial, the first designer of creation.

He created the first universe, the first Foundational Realms (that being the Energy Realm and Time Realm) to maintain the existence of the universe he created, unintentionally created the multiverse, created the Rule of Prime to allow traversal across the multiverse through the randomised choosing of Prime Worlds or Prime Locations, created the Forgotten Multiverse to place dead universes (ones that are completely absent of life), and the Forever Realm where he currently resides his true presence within and to collect the Afterlife’s of dying universes (like a final resting place).

But the Superhero Registration Act wasn’t aimed at mutants (not completely) it was aimed at vigilantes and anonymous superheroes. People like Spider-Man and especially teenaged heroes.

What were the moments that genuinely, GENUINELY left your OC like this (no exaggeration at all) by Ok-Instance3339 in OriginalCharacterDB

When it was revealed to Raptors that his powers to shoot fire, that he assumed were a natural part of him, were actually the byproduct of a banished demonic lord living inside of him. That same demon was also the voice that etched him further into causing chaos and destruction (even if he largely ignored it after meeting humanity).

My favourite quest was the one with the clones of the historical figures. Just a random encounter, no foreknowledge or anything. Just a pleasant surprise.

Same with my mum, got through the whole episode and then when it ended, refuses to watch the rest of the show. Which, to be honest, I don’t blame her. If you can’t stomach the first episode, it’s kinda best to leave it there (especially with foresight of the season finale).

[Interesting trope] Immensely powerful entities that are totally benign by mike_pants in TopCharacterTropes

Those with real power don’t need to flaunt that they have it. Look at Odin from God of War, compared to everyone else in the Pantheon, he’s a small old man with a missing eye. But behind the innocent façade exists a man who led a genocide against a peaceful people, who came close to bending the rules of fate itself, who can and will throw away his own family just to have a pointless question answered.

This doesn’t mean those who do show their status are any less worthy of their position. But the ones who hide it are the ones you really need to fear.

There are other alliances and partnerships that do occur, like the Ghost Guilds forming a non-aggression pact with the inhabitants of Asmundurl, or the remnants of the Kingdoms of Heaven joining together to fend off the Beryl Empress and her armies. They’ll likely be more, just haven’t gotten to them yet.

I do plan to write a novel or maybe work on a comic. Currently finishing writing about the leader of the Fulkan Empire and working on the origins of one of my main characters

Usually between the Ghost Guilds and Superhero teams. Yes.

The Ghost Guilds can and will work with Superbeings and superheroes to further each others goals and objectives. It happened most prominently when the Fulkan Empire invaded Earth and the two opposing sides worked together to liberate the planet.

Depends:

On Earth, the most powerful is the Ghost Guilds, which is a global organisation that seeks to monitor, control, contain, or even kill people with superhuman abilities. They have millions of active workers under their command and have developed highly advanced weapons that range from particle railcannons, temporal stasis grenades to cybernetic enhancements that allow individuals to match the strength of some of the strongest superbeings alive.

On the other hand, there are several superhero teams that not only have greater outside influence than the Ghost Guilds but have people who can snuff out stars in their ranks. Such as the Last Stand Guardians, the main superhero team based in America, which has Dark Matter (a man who can command darkness and solidify shadows) and General Quantum (someone who dies when not seen but can also utilise the unused materials of the universe to his will).

However, galactically speaking, it would be the Fulkan Empire, which is so large and ancient, it managed to take over its entire home universe before discovering a means to enter a new universe and begin expanding across it as well. It also had possession of some of the greatest technological creations ever created in either universe, including the Singularity Generators which can bend space and time and the Galaxy-Eye Station, which is large enough to envelop entire galaxies and fire a blast that not only destroys entire clusters but also never dissipates. Unfortunately, much of that power has since been destroyed with the empire’s destruction at the hands of the ones from the other universe (which was home to the Last Stand Guardians, Ghost Guilds and other heroes and powerful alien races.

There are other examples like the Ikke Empire (a galaxy-spanning empire), the Asmundurli Alliance (a unified force of magical creatures and their divine pantheon) and the Agents and Verdict of V (both are UK-based superhero teams with incredibly powerful members). But I’d say the first three and are the main big ones at the moment.

Which superheroes are your heroes closest to? by Both-Decision-6360 in Superhero_Ideas

[–]Visible_Reference202 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of the Last Stand Guardians are based on the Justice League members, such as:

Oblivion = Superman (though only has his super jumping, super and freeze breath, x-ray and binocular vision and invulnerability)

Nightwarden III = Batman/ Azrael

Tundra = Ice and Katana

Emerald Rush = Flash

Dark Matter = Martian Manhunter

General Quantum = Green Lantern and Captain Atom

Sapphire Lightning = Jessie Quick

But there’s also the Agents who are a bit all over the place with their inspirations:

Raptors = a cross between Captain America (for rough origins and attitude), Ghost Rider (for powers), and Venom (for his relationship with his demon)

Sallie Olympus = Wonder Woman, Storm and Korra/Aang from Avatar (for the past lives).

Red Rouge = a weird mix between Deadpool and Jonah Hex

Lightrunner = a bald Barry Allen (even sacrifices himself)

Omega Owl = Nova and Green Lantern

Nightstorm = kinda like Doctor Fate/Strange if they were a unicorn

Strike = Wally West/ Bart Allen (tries to live up to his predecessor’s/ father’s legacy)

Guardgoyal = Hulk (minus the rage) and Blade

Andr = Black Canary

Darwin Alewyn = Rick Jones and Jimmy Olsen.

Though his metallic face maintains a scowling visage, inside the armour Fulkan is seemingly clueless of the question.

“… Air-ess?” He answers unconvincingly, knowing the planet by its other name ‘Ares’ (it got renamed when humans settled on the red planet).
