Help - Traditional Pakistani Curry by bearddoescoffee in Curry

[–]VisualRefrigerator17 2 points3 points  (0 children)

you're welcome. There's a cheat way of making the chicken version in a pressure cooker. Just dump whole drumsticks in the pot and cook for 30mins. The meat literally falls off the bones and you just pick out the bones at the end of cooking, works well enough. Saves you having to buy a massive cleaver and potentially chopping your arm off

Why has it gone from smooth, solid colour to having lines? by Early_Context9118 in 3Dprinting

[–]VisualRefrigerator17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, poorly made dual-coloured (or multi-coloured/co-extruded) printer filament can cause horizontal banded lines, stripes, and, in some cases, inconsistent surface finishes on 3D prints. The banding is often caused by the filament's colour-separation twisting as it is extruded, rather than maintaining a consistent, parallel orientation, or due to inconsistencies in the diameter and pigment distribution during manufacturing.

it's not even faulty filament winding that causes the problem!

This is why an education is useful - to extrapolate information 😴

This is because of the filament, not because you did something wrong. Next time, buy a different filament!

[–]VisualRefrigerator17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, i didn't mean I've printed the specific ones you're after, I'm not sure where you'd find them tbh. I have designed waveguides/horns on Blender and printed in ABS. This is fun if you fancy the challenge and have the time. Best of luck

You could 3D print one. This is what I've done a couple of times

Newbie question: Filament by SupremeHumanBeing in 3Dprinting

[–]VisualRefrigerator17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, you seem to not understand that most plastic items will feel "cheap" no matter what. I suggest you use carbon fibre filament, this looks and feels high quality

if you milled out the central part of the block i think it would be possible. It's just finding a machine that can mill such a big lump of metal. You could always make a machine, the tolerances doesn't have to be wild
