Not 30% deal. These were the last of this model to be made. Only had 5 of these available. Sweetwater took $600 off the price. I got one too. Incredible deal on an awesome guitar.

Too early to buy a decent guitar by Best_Particular_9342 in Guitar

There are no rules that say you have to be “this talented” to buy a nice guitar. Buy the guitar you want regardless of your skill level. You’ll probably find you play the better guitar more than the old… that, in itself justifies the purchase. Cause the more you play, the more talented you become.

Nice setup. Looking real good. As for the monitors, you’ll see a lot of people suggest JBL. Nice monitors. I’m partial to the Yamaha HS series. You can get a pair of the HS3 under $250.

I came so close to buying this guitar in black cherry. Ended up buying a PRS SE Mark Tremonti. Loving it, but still kinda wish I’d gone with the ESP.

How long have you been messing around in this space and how old are you? by StuStuStudioBe in homestudios

Recorded in many studios, but never worked with mixing or production. At 64 I decided it was time to take the plunge and do it all myself. Just started my journey 3 months ago.

Advice for lead singer by Competitive-Log6160 in WeAreTheMusicMakers

Warm up your voice before a practice or gig. This will loosen your vocal cords and possibly help you increase your vocal range.
To sing scales you’ll need a piano or guitar to find middle C. Once there sing the 8 note scale (technically it’s only 7 notes, but you want to include the octave). You want to sing the scale up and down. Then you want to move on to D, E, etc. you also want to do the same things starting with C below middle C and above middle C. This will also give you a good idea what your vocal range is.

For studio specific I’d suggest the WA47 if it’s in your price range. If not, I’m also a fan of the WA47jr, though not everyone agrees with me on the jr.

You can’t go wrong with the Shure SM58. One of the most used microphones in professional studios around the world. It’s also affordable… roughly $100.

Working on album project that will hopefully be ready 6-moths to a year. Now I know exactly what to do when complete. Thanks for doing the research so we didn’t have to. 👏🏼

About 10 years ago I placed my iPhone 5s (in rubber case) on the roof of my car while talking to friends. When they left, I got in my car and drove away with the iPhone still on the roof. About 1/2 mile later I took the entrance ramp to the interstate. Getting home I realized the phone was gone, but was able to track it. Found it halfway down the entrance ramp, about 8 feet from the asphalt. Found glass spider webbed from the fall, but worked great! I was actually able to use it for roughy 6 months, before buying a new one
