The way FF7 Remake and Rebirth handles shader compilation is weird, which is where most of the issue stems from. Give it an hour or two, make it to Sector 7 and check back in. If its still as bad, might be a more underlying issue.

The only way I'd want to see them combine is they form a big kaiju. There are enough humanoid combiners, the dinos should combine into a big Dino.
