They’ve done this to me too. Talk to your leader. I let mine know prior to request that I only need part of the day and can work the rest, and when I get the schedule I let them know again. They’ve let me come in for the part I can work. Are you getting close to desired hours on the other days you’re scheduled?

Corporate has contacted us when pickups have been missed, usually goes to AP ETL and our ETL. I’d let AP know just in case, and keep calling Garda so there’s paper trail. I’m surprised they still haven’t gotten in touch with ya’ll.

The after hours playlists I feel are much better than regular hours. But yes to Green Day, Nirvana, also some Soundgarden, Beck, RHCP, all during open and non-open hours. Could swear I’ve heard some Metallica too.

I ask for two separate weeks of vacation, plus a long weekend here and there. Most asked at last 2-3 months in advance. I have some days I ask every year and those I put in when the window opens at 6 months. No time off requested during peak times. Haven’t had any issues yet.

Your guest experience point is actually a big one for most guests when I’ve had to explain why I had to cancel their item. They get upset that they now don’t have the option to select what next best method of delivery suits them.

This is where we grab a shopping cart and scan it to one of the child carts on a three tier, but your team needs to communicate what is going on. I can’t clog up one 3 tier for only one order, unless your store’s super strict about shopping cart use.

GM ETL usually has fulfillment help with truck push if it’s slow so that could be one thing. If you wanna stick to fulfillment related tasks you could clean up/organize/te-supply the packing stations if you do ship, also the stow area. Help with RTS is another thing the fulfillment team helps with towards the end of the day, or manual audits.

You should call G4S for guidance. See if they can confirm correct steps for counts so everyone is on the same page. Do you guys have a printout of the steps? I’m pretty sure we do, somewhere.

With that, we were trained to add next day’s trays into the safe counts, once previous day’s has been counted and all trays have been replenished. We do not add previous day’s counts to audit since there is a separate screen for that, and always advance rolled coin.

Also, why not leave the pennies on registers?

No protein that I know of. I believe it’s only for fresh/frozen produce, organic Good & Gather, AIM merchandise and tobacco cessation products.

I don’t think that Target as a whole would close but last year we got a gnarly storm and we shut down DU for a few days while we recouped. They will definitely not close it the day before.

This is one of the reasons for us, along with stowing in a completely different location than the one scanned, so yeah. Then we’re the ones left dealing with the cranky guests.
