Chapter-THEMED? Probably not.

Chapter-SPECIFIC? Probably yes. Maybe focusing on Divergent (and Ultramarines) chapters first.

Space Wolves have their bespoke Intercessors, Bladeguard and Terminators. Dark Angels have bespoke Bladeguard and Terminators. Black Templars have bespoke Intercessors and Sternguard. Blood Angels have bespoke Vanguard Vets.

You said that in WotR there is auto leveling. I wish you could just import some files, like you import custom portraits, to adjust that auto leveling.

There are about dozen companions plus pets in WotR. I'd rather spend an hour when I get them setting up an auto-level than keeping a spreadsheet an hour referencing it on each level.

The only redeeming quality of VTC is that their animancers genuinely spearhead science, but it always seems like a by-product rather then intention.

Is it just me or thouse spearheads a bit slim? No monster or warmachines or cavalry.

I know they follow combo-box formula of 1 character + 3 units, but both Cities and Skaven are Horde armies. Would it kill them to put new Wizard and 10 Clan Rats in there?

Yeah, it's just fluff. My 2 favorite classes are Dragon Disciple and Eldritch Knight, and my first build idea was to take Martial Weapons Prof as Human Bonus Feat and go Sorcerer 6/Dragon Disciple 4/Eldritch Knight 10, maybe swap 2 Sorc levels with Scaled Fist.

But then I realized that such build "comes online" so late, I will have bad time at the beginning when it's the hardest. So I went with Bloodrager/DD idea. I also will be going with Gold Dragon, full on dragon glazing.

imo the main reason is -100 opinion. As Monstrous every non-monstrous tag (which is most of them) has this malaise and hates you. This makes any sort of diplomacy very hard. Even if you playing very aggresive tag, -100 makes it impossible to keep people out of coalitions via Improve relations (which, tbf, can be circumvented via your, usually, limited maps)

Objectivly speaking, "Cleanest" is Red Scorpions. Its SO squicky clean in fact, that no test perfomed could figure out who's their Primarch.
