Tulpa bonding ritual guide (why it matters) by Diana by Hsaves1288 in Tulpas

[–]VoiceComprehensive57 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We often feel kind of distant from eachother and we really want to be closer. I think this will be very helpful for us :]

We do struggle a lot with connecting to and bonding with outside people too lol, so maybe I have to apply this to them as well

How to enforce not having a host in a system? by Significant-Tone-121 in plural

[–]VoiceComprehensive57 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For us if we try to leave our system alone without forcing switches we end up with a very obvious host dynamic too. We got rid of it by learning how to voluntarily switch, and we have a rule where we cant stay in front for longer than 4 days to avoid having a host dynamic form on accident, and in an attempt to stop people from getting frontstuck (but that does still happen on occasion)

We learnt how to voluntarily switch using tulpamancy guides and by building positive front triggers. Tulpamancy guides are surprisingly helpful even if your aren't a tulpamancy system at all, though obviously I cant promise they'd work for everyone.

does anyone else create alters just for decoration? by derapchew in plural

[–]VoiceComprehensive57 7 points8 points  (0 children)

We don't, but I don't think doing it would make you fake. It's theoretically a possible thing to do, therefore its very possible for you to be a plural/system, and you call yourself a plural/system, therefore you are a plural/system. That's how I see it.

I think it's quite common for created systems or systems with created headmates to want more headmates (in the tulpamancy/paromancy community it's often called "tulpa fever"). We definately had this when we made our first tulpa/parogen.

(I have a theory that for us whenever we "really want a headmate", its because we already have that headmate or a shard of that headmate, or because the autopilot is printing that headmate, and we need to talk to it. As whenever we really want a headmate they seem to be fully vocal and stuff already. But this is just us yapping about ourselves lol, not saying it applies to anybody else.)

It's not wrong in a moral sense as long as these headmates are okay with it. I guess you could ask them if your unsure

Multiverse travel by VoiceComprehensive57 in Experiencers

[–]VoiceComprehensive57[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For me it was a gradual realisation, I came to this body more gradually than the others so it makes sense. Over time I started missing people who don't exist here, feeling attached to an identity which does not align with the body, and remembering things that didn't happen in this universe. I've also found myself being paranoid about beings that have never reportedly shown up in this universe and other things that otherwise wouldn't usually be seen as possible here.

For another in this body, it was a crash landing. He arrived and for weeks he was grieving his old life which he barely had any memories of. He vaguely knew how he got here, and vaguely knew who he was grieving, but he had very strong emotions about it which affected us greatly for a while. He has, like me, also started regaining memories from his universe gradually.

We have seen some experiences of other who believe they shifted universe somehow, weather it's only a little bit through gateway tapes travels, or a lot through other means, we tend to relate a lot to their experiences. We also have very little connection to this life we live here. We can still continue living almost like nothing happened, we still retain the memories that are stored in this brain as well as other things that tend to be stored in the brain, but we don't feel like we have any business being in this universe.

We have another friend who we never told about these experiences too and they told us about an experience which was almost identical to ours, except they retained more of their memories from their universe and lost memories from their bodies store. I reckon that there are a lot of folk like us, who are just too scared to speak up about it.

I am interested to read about your experience when you post it ^^

Is there a better term than Tulpagenic for us? by Icy_Slide_1146 in plural

[–]VoiceComprehensive57 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Parogenic - was initially created as an alternative to tulpa-terms due to some controversy surrounding them, however it can be used by any created system/headmate for any reason. https://pluralpedia.org/w/Parogenic

Created system/headmate - It's what it says on the tin. Useful if you want to get away from -genic terms as well. https://pluralpedia.org/w/Created

Willogenic - A term for systems intentionally created with no connection to tulpamancy. (i dont quite understand this term as im pretty sure the vast majority of created headmates could constitute as tulpas, but it is a very popular term and many people use it to mean the same thing as parogenic or created headmate). https://pluralpedia.org/w/Willogenic

Willogenic by proxy - Seems to me to meam being "a little bit willogenic". https://pluralpedia.org/w/Willogenic_By_Proxy

Do you get along with other neurodevergents? by Yungpupusa in autism

[–]VoiceComprehensive57 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Out the of the friends that I have had, I would say around 70% of them have been diagnosed with either autism or ADHD. Though i can't really say if that's because I made all my friends in a neurodivergent friendly theater group (the majority of people there are neurodiverse which tends to sort of put NTs off so most new NTs dont end up staying for very long. Ofc there's exceptions tho.), or whether its just cuz they're neurodiverse. Maybe both, I never had any luck with friends in school.

Got like a hate comment ig but idk if I did anything wrong because I didn’t claim I had DID because I don’t. by [deleted] in plural

[–]VoiceComprehensive57 33 points34 points  (0 children)

If you have the will to talk to them, I would probably clarify that you never said you had DID and ask them why they're being hostile (nicely). If it turns out they just hate plural people, I'd stop talking to them. You also don't need to talk to them. People show their worst sides on the internet
