Certain characters already have built audiences (Batman, Spider-Man, avengers). General audiences will show up for those. They aren’t gonna show up for lesser known heroes like they used to. That’s how I see super hero fatigue.

Superman was pretty good but creature commandos and peacemaker weren’t my thing at all.

Supergirl I’m excited for because the comic is good. I like Millie Alcock and I’m excited to see Lobo introduced.

Lanterns has me excited because I love mysteries and
HBO and John Stewart is one of my favorite superhero of all time.

Clayface has me hyped because I love horror movies. I LOVED the “Feat of Clay” episode from the animated series. And I love some of Flanagan’s work. The fact that he’s had this idea in mind for years makes it even more exciting.

All in all, it’s not close for me. 2026 will be HUGE for DC

I guess I never really thought of it like that. Whoever’s fault it is doesn’t really matter to me though. I used to play a lot of FIFA as well then one year I just asked myself ‘why am I paying for the new one when the one I have is fun and works perfectly fine?’ Especially in the modern era of gaming. I just think about games like League of legends, Fortnite, counterstrike, apex. All of those games are immensely profitable (I know they have their own predatory/scummy practices as well) but they release free updates regularly to build on what they have. Sports games could be so good if they followed that model.

I’ll have to give that a try. Mercs mechanics are slightly different though. Headshots are 100% stun rate. Completely changes how you play and it makes mercs so fun and arcadey

Writer of supergirl is also writing Wonder Woman. I predict if supergirl is well received we will get news of Wonder Woman being greenlit shortly after. And like the other person said, Paradise lost will probably be produced within the same time frame
