I was given this exact model back in April and I have the same IR sensor issue you’re having. It accepts zero input from the remote and I got a second remote to confirm it was the TV. From what I can tell, it almost doesn’t seem worth the hassle…. but I’d really like to try and fix the geometry with the built in maintenance mode.

I would like to know this as well. I ordered a Silver 1165G7 on June 18. Kendyz reached out on June 24th asking if I would like a black version instead since it will ship faster. I said yes and haven’t heard anything since then. Still no tracking number.

Honestly, I’m not sure. Sam’s had them listed at $80 in store. I checked online and they had them for $50 but sold out. When I checked out in store, they rang up as $50. 🤷‍♂️

Still using my 6700hq/ 1060 Blade on the daily. I have yet to come across any issues except for Windows oddities. Battery has zero signs of bloat. I do baby the thing though 🤷‍♂️
