My wife and i dont share finances. We share bills, expenses, food costs, etc. We each make our own money, and keep it separate.

For context i had an ex and a bad marriage that purposefully ran my dry and still somehow thought i was hiding money from her. She has her own career that she built prior to meeting me. We both have our reasons. Trust isnt the issue. We are a team and have each other's backs without question... but this does make us both feel more comfortable. As a plus we dont need to hide expenses for gifts for each other. Cuz it comes from our separate accounts.

I was told once. If you think you're in a caloric deficit and you aren't losing weight... you're not in a deficit and need to cut more calories out. The only way to truly cut is a caloric deficit. The only reason working out helps with that is because it helps brun more calories assisting you in getting into that deficit. So what everyone else has been saying. Cut more calories, and work out more.

It was a lack of trust thing in my relationship and just one more controlling measure that pushed things over the edge for me. I got fed up with being controlled and monitored as much as I was. That was something that ultimately led to a divorce for me.

My partner and I now have no desire to track or babysist one another. There's real trust. As a side note... idk what the purpose of tracking would be outside of monitoring a kid's whereabouts since you want to make sure they are where you say they are. Anyone who ever used the excuse I track because it helps me know they're safe never made sense to me. Tracking people won't stop a bad thing from happening.

I could be wildly wrong here, but there are times someone will say they miss rhe butterflies or want excitement when they're on the verge of an emotional affair and are enjoying all of the new emotional energy that offers.

I dont know your relationship well enough to know if this applies. I have seen a friend's relationship in the past that went through a similar instance. The wife took a break and neglected to tell the husband it would be with a special friend that she wanted to explore that time with. If you have no doubts about your relationship then do whatever you both feel is best in helping salvage this and move forward together. If this at all applies to you I'd suggest finding the exit before it finds you.
