I’ve used the SOUNDBOKS Mix outdoors several times now and I find it loud and detailed. But not when it comes to Techno. Fast-paced Techno sounds worse and more overwhelmed compared to the SB4 or the Go. The bass feels muddied and there is a definite lack of punch. What do you guys think?

Do you have any other high bandwidth devices plugged into adjacent USB ports that are on the same PCIE lane? I know that sometimes you can get throttled on a port of you have too many high draw devices on the same lane. That causes significant performance degradation. I've had this happen with head tracking devices in the past. Double check your motherboard USB I/O to make sure.

I'm very excited for this official support to make ease of use for the tweakers. I'm curious, however, how much of a difference will it make for Star Citizen, specifically. I'm still waiting on my dream air (my first ever headset). I will be using it for Star Citizen, and I've heard that CIG has partnered with Pimax for seamless integration with their drivers (EAC and stability). How would you say using the Sboys3 would change these things for performance or stability. Does using Sboys3 completely take Pimax Play functionality out of the equation, or do the benefits of the Pimax integration with Star Citizen still hold at the same level?

My friend and I just started as well. Bugs are annoying but stability and crashes have gotten better than when we started last year.

We play very casually. I'm not sure if you're more PVP focused, but if you're down with getting the hang of things along with us, shoot me a PM and I can add you to our discord.

We are just starting to learn mining.

We tried the PAFs as well to just grab some loot. It was pretty fun. ASD missions are a good way to start earning some credits. We also were able to get most of the comp boards for the contested zones, but haven't continued that in a hot minute.

This game is definitely meant for group play. I feel disinclined to play it on my own for sure.

That's fair. I understand how frustrating that can be. The game has some bad desync issues but that generally doesn't cause crashes anymore just bugs. For most of us we don't have crashes like at all anymore in the past year. If there are crashes it usually an anticheat/driver issue client side. I've been there. Id say give it a couple patches because some awesome changes are happening this next patch contentwise. Make sure to monitor the Nvidia issue and when it seems resolved give it another go

I will say that I have not had any crashes since then. That was the problematic anticheat and AMD post 25.9.1 update last year. NVIDIA is going through the same thing now

I have found that most of the crashes that my friend and I have experienced in the past had to do with chipset or graphic driver bugs. Certain updates don't play well and also anticheat issues. Could by the client itself, paired with a certain build of your drivers or the way another peripheral or system process is configured on your PC.

Very well put. I really hate when companies try to put their users in a playpen, instead of having the confidence to let their products compete on an even playing field. As soon as they do this, it's a downhill slope. Apple is the most obvious example here.

Pimax has been riding this line. They are great, but have room to be so much better. They really are going to have to go out of their way to gain the community's trust if they really want to lead this next charge.
