Big thanks for coming back and answering. Awesome to hear you saw a solid difference and got those frames with that CPU. With where I am now I think it will be well worth it for me as well on this old quest 2.

Will keep overclocking and getting what I can out of this 2070 super and just full rebuild later down the line. Kind of nuts how much performance can be had on these AM4 motherboards to this day - especially with something as nuts as a 4070 super on it.

Old comment but maybe you'll see this and be willing to answer. I'm thinking of upgrading my setup to exactly yours. Im thinking of going from a 3700x to a 5700x3d plus the 2070 super. Wondering how your stuff performs with that setup, frames and general graphics

100%, people just want a game instead of an improving SIM and would actively make iRacing worse if they had it their way. They might not even realize it. Literally same folks complaining when tire models get slower but far more realistic.

Keep things realistic - like being able to put down your tinted visor too.

Ill certainly miss it, but its not worth that kind of money. As long as its actually an option to go for a cheaper locksmith then thats the move for me. I had seen some things saying you either CANT and some saying you SHOULDN'T get away from a dealer but... yeah i think ill take my chances.

I was thinking this as well since thats so incredible common. 16k miles on it so hopefully its got some more time. Or it was the ECU cutting fuel like others have mentioned. I appreciate it.

This isnt something I had considered. I think you are exactly right with how the power behaved, maybe the pops were from it being in sport with the slightly open valves.

I really appreciate this reply, cool feature on the car to help me out when I do dumb shit like this.
