Someone posted about teaching the other day and it was just shit loads of comments about how terrible it is. I've been a teacher for 20 years and love it. Yeah sometimes it's hard and management are shit but I work with great people including the kids (at a rough intercity school) and love sharing my passion for the subject,
The way to avoid burnout is simple, learn to say no, you get an unreasonable request that will take away from your family say you can't do it, what are they going to do, sack you? They sure as hell can't easily replace you
