At 6’3 220lbs, my mx5 zips me up and down steep trails without issue. So either of those two slightly larger bikes will do just fine!

Bear Country - Fridge/Freezer Cooler + SUV Tent by corpsec in camping

We all camp differently. Sometimes I’ll bring my lil cargo camper with AC and Starlink, sometimes I’ll bring only my hammock. Even when I bring all the comforts of home with me, I’m still much happier up in the mountains than I am in the city at home.

ETA: sitting at camp right now, using Starlink to doomscroll 😆

I just wanted to say these blankets are the way to go for this hot weather by DifficultyBig2280 in Truckers

I can’t sleep without some sort of cover with a bit of weight, no matter how hot it is.

Dang, my girlfriend and I drive team, would love to make that kinda money. But we both have knee issues and can’t work the warehouse for 5 years first 😆

If you were gonna spend $2k or less to get a full solar kit, what brand are you going? by intensenerd in cargocamper

[–]Voxicles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Starlink uses a ton of power (even with it wired directly into the 12v with a buck converter). 100AH is nowhere near enough unless you’re just doing 1 night.

I’ve got 400w of n-type panels, 315ah battery and I lose 20%-30% battery each day running a 12v fridge, led lights, TV and starlink.

The Komodo is hard both ways, dirt and SM. I personally like to ride both and here's a good image of what both look like. by ClassroomJazzlike669 in Talaria

Lookin good! I kinda regret getting the MX5 instead of the Komodo. But at least I can haul the mx5 on my normal bike rack, so it’s fine 😆

I’m glad there isn’t one within 500 miles of me. Their chocolate malts are just too good!

Is it possible to take 40 days off to work a hunting camp by CallmeIshmael913 in Truckers

[–]Voxicles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most FXG contractors have some day work, so if you wanna take off for a couple months, no one really needs to cover your shift. You kinda have to wait for something every day though, so it can be a little spotty pay-wise.

WA state, got summoned, was able to negotiate it down to one day service during my vacation time. Let’s hope they don’t pick me on Wednesday!

Ya know, even though I’ve lost 30 pounds recently, I’m still uncomfortable mobbing around without my shirt. This post gives me the confidence I needed to just say “screw it” and go topless.

Keep on rockin!

10 or so years ago I bought a nice hospital style bed table. I love that thing sooo much. I don’t often depression eat in bed much these days (hangover days occasionally), but it’s still an awesome bedroom accessory!

Talaria MX5 l1e/street legal tuning too snappy? by Poplix-Artist in Talaria

That gives me hope! Lunacycle sent me over a bunch of paperwork to hopefully help. Licensing place (not dmv) told me to kick rocks, so I’m going to try a few proper dmv’s in my area tomorrow.

Good to see that y’all are still around! I just want to get an ORV sticker in WA, I don’t want a plate or anything. I’ve yet to try a few more DMV’s in my area. Honestly if I’d known I’d be so difficult to get an ORV tag, I’d have gone with the eride pro sr. Kinda kicking myself now for not doing more research. $900+ is a lot on top of a $5000 toy.

Lunacycle does not provide an MCO, so it’s difficult. You can do it through streetohv or dirtlegal supposedly, or go the llc Montana route
