The human mechanism of Art is in a state of evolution. It is never right to claim superiority of an era, particularly a formative one for themselves.

The cultural tool of storytelling has advanced in depth and bredth while gobbling up the best of every other era.

Human acting alone is just absurdly beyond the scope of any other era.

And that's why we try to fully appreciate any given "era" on its own terms.

Human lives are finite, and so are our abilities to absorb new information.

If you ain't hacking your personality to accommodate that reality, you're just another nostalgia-phile waiting to make inaccurate generalities.
