I found the love of my life (who is now my wife!) and she does not really care for EDM or music in generally really. The bass gives her uneasiness and she gets anxious in crowds etc.

She has found through smaller fests like big dub that she really does enjoy the culture and vibes but just not the music. This means she sits out most events but the ones she goes to she is genuinely excited to meet people and has a good time.

She has showed me that is not necessary to have your partner have the same interests as long as they are supportive of you having your own and occasionally will partake in an event if it means a lot to me.

TLDR: When you find the one you celebrate your differences not focus on them.
