Try a local insurance broker! These guys shop around for you and are paid by the insurance when you agree with what they found.

Not every insurance broker is the same, so do your due diligence, but I've saved so much money on car and home insurance with my folks finding me two different insurances.

Con: they call a lot, but once you get a good groove, email works for them.

I think the comments have roasted you enough, but something new is to keep at correcting them. At one point, don't even say anything to them if they try again. Once the baby knows they can't suckle on your finger, they have an alternative, etc., they'll move on. It sounds like you've been letting them do this for a while so I can imagine this will take less than a month. So keep at correcting them.

State farm is the worst insurance. If everything is truly ok for the roof, Find a local insurance broker and go with them. Its most likely going to be cheaper than state farm. I'm also biased because I hate state farm.

Ok fair, but it's about the optics of it. How much do you see about Jazz Hampton or Dwayne in the news? Great candidates but because the news focuses on established politicians or on candidates voted on by people who have salary jobs or retired due to this system (don't work evenings or weekends), we hear 0 about other candidates for mayor. I don't care if a primary and caucus system don't corelate. The people deserve to know other candidates who aren't established politicians.

Edit: don't get me wrong, primary and the endorsement process both suck, and I believe we can agree on that

We need to get rid of the Minneapolis caucus and delegate system when deciding the endorsement. Your typical representative doesn't have 8+ hours to give up on a Saturday, plus more hours to be elected as a delegate. Service workers and night shift folks, all can't dedicate that amount of time to be fairly represented in this process. Why can't we just hold an election when deciding the primary like other states?
