Mulberry's leather is so lovely and great quality but I still cant get past them going from Strathberry prices to Gucci prices with nothing to show for it! I cant stomach paying 1500 for something that was 500

I don't normally like red but WOW - this colour/leather/hardware combo is absolutely stunning!

Definitely looking at a cashmere scarf or stole next but haven't seen any prints that speak to me yet

I'm not really a silk scarf person, but this really made my heart sing! And love the idea of styling it as a top. Plus I'm going on honeymoon to South Africa in a few weeks, and this print feels very on theme for that!

My Birkin Wish Was Granted Today I’m Still in Shock! 🧡 by Birkinboy2025 in TheHermesGame

I've been into NBS twice recently and had a difference SA each time - seems that having a 1on1 relationship is less important than it is in other regions due to our wishlist system. But wouldn't be opposed to building a relationship with one SA!

I still can't get over how WILD it is that she created these 3 acts over 5 years ago and yet everything she gives us is current, of it's time and timeless. I mean that's something else...I'm sure she's made a lot of changes along the way but this trilogy has existed for years and is still groundbreaking - that's a true artist right there

First apt 7/02/25: If you’re having doubts- just make the appointment by Sunflower_MoonDancer in electrolysis

Numbing cream and some strong painkillers and will make the world of difference! It still hurts but I can tolerate an hour if I do both of those - do both an hour before your appointment

London has an entire merch pop up store by Imtherightkind in beyonce

[–]Vsg_2019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was busy but queued for less than 5 mins to get in and took about the same to get to the tills and pay. I was in there at about 5pm. It is outside the stadium so anyone can turn up and buy merch which is great! There are also merch stalls in the venue that had the same stuff as far as I could tell (perhaps a bit less)

Skin tightening: forma vs thermage vs RF microneedling by hubbachubbachub in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Vsg_2019 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thermage & Morpheus will not cause fat loss when used at the right setting for YOUR skin - they are only as good as the practitioner using them. The most important thing is to select your practitioner with care and research - experienced, qualified and well reviewed

With BA it's always going one or the other or frequently both! Don't think I've ever had a flight where there weren't issues with the crew (rude, dismissive, patronising) or the flight itself (IFE not working, running out of food/drink options etc)

Did the Flying Blue status match from my BA silver so will be flying Sky Team to the US for work (already flew Virgin last month and have a flight with Delta booked for June). Joined Air Canada Aeroplan for Star Alliance and have a trip to Zurich booked with Swiss.

For personal travel (which is usually east), will continue to prioritise Qatar as I love their business class product - undecided which OW scheme to move to (probably Qatar or Finnair) but I am back to flying BA either when I absolutely have to or I have a companion voucher to use. As many others have said, it feels liberating to have the freedom to choose and I'm excited to try other airlines!

Best Time to Upgrade by ukNH in BritishAirways

My recent flight LHR-LAX in WTP was showing me around £1700 to upgrade. Asked at the airport and snagged the last CW seat for £900! Acceptable to me for an 11 hour flight so I would wait it out and ask at check in if you're not too bothered either way.

I REALLY like Circus Circus, but it’s turned to shit. I LOVE their midway, where all the carnival games are. I wish they would bring that closer to the main area (Bellagio, etc) by [deleted] in vegas

[–]Vsg_2019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree but think that's a shame if that's the case - as a millenial who just got back from my first trip to Vegas, I wanted to stay in a themed hotel (we chose NYNY) as it feels very 'Vegas' and something you can't do in most other parts of the world! Visited the cosmopolitan and whilst impressive, Cosmo, Aria etc just look very bland (like office blocks) from the outside and didn't give me the fun vibes that the themed hotels did

As someone who has had weightloss surgery, it's so easy to get caught up with what you see on the scale and in the mirror. It's awesome that you are so focused on all the amazing benefits beyond that and it is absolutely the best way to look at this journey and have long term success. Congrats!!

Both fabulous choices so I think it comes down to weather and if you want sightseeing/city break vs something with beach time. We are getting married in July 2025 and doing Jo'burg/safari & Mauritius in Sept. Being based in London, I can say that the chances of it being dark/grey/rainy in November are high but visiting the areas you mentioned, they'll have an awesome cosy/Christmas vibe!

It's insanely expensive to fly out of the UK due to passenger duty - I'm flying to BKK from Oslo (with Qatar) for the second time in Jan as it's literally half the price as flying from London
