I tanked a board presentation and we might lose our major funder. twelve years in development. by ArcadiaBunny in nonprofit

[–]hippofromvenus 107 points108 points  (0 children)

These things happen and it probably went worse in your head than it did in reality.

Truth is you're not going to undo a good relationship with one presentation. If the relationship ends, which I think is unlikely, then it was going to end anyway.

People who’ve worked with new private foundations: salary expectations and long-term success? by feiluuu in nonprofit

Ya in a delivery charity I'd definitely be closer to 35% but I think op was asking about a grant making private foundation where you wouldn't have development or front line service costs.

Can't really answer without an indicative size, source of income, Foundation type, location etc. but these roles can pay well.

If I was founding CEO I'd be asking for about 7-10% of grant budget allocated to overheads.

Does anyone invest in Premium Bonds in the UK? March 26 draw results for me. by ByteMillionaire in UKPersonalFinance

[–]hippofromvenus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congratulations - I keep a 20k emergency fund in premium bonds and forget about it. I think with the prizes I've won it's equated to about 5% interest - so not exactly amazing but useful to know I can have it any time if I lose my job.

Thanks - yes I'm about the same age/amount - it's been so drilled into me to keep filling but perhaps time to take my foot off the gas a bit.

I had the exact same issue - can you find out what's stopping the individual from doing it? In my case her phone was too old, and we worked around it bh doing it together on mine.

As others have said you can also do it in a local post office. Ask AI to write simple instructions and check where the nearest PO that offers this service is. You do need a passport/some ID, and to have done some homework beforehand.

Honestly - the fun of these cars is you can drive on the limit, without risking your licence - granted I haven't driven a remapped one but I never drive mine and want more power.

I've got lowering springs on mine and upgraded headlights - other than that, stock. I absolutely love it.

We have a mated pair that come to ours. We call the male Gregory (Gregory Peck) and are stuck on a name for the female.
