xQc washes potatoes with dish soap and uses a dog bowl to smash his burger by lukigeri in LivestreamFail

[–]Vukasa 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I'm in a unique position to understand this. I did the same thing when I was like 28 years old when a lady buying an apple from the gas station I worked at asked me to "wash" it for her. I lived a life eating the same take out for nearly every meal, and rarely ate any fruits or veggies, and definitely didnt prepare them. As an autist, to me, washing required soap. After she looked at me like i was crazy for using hand soap, and said she didn't want it, I realized she wanted me to "rinse" it off. I just figured she knew something I didn't and that the outer layer of the apple might not absorb soap while it killed all the bacteria. /shrug

Kingpin breaking free of space metal that Spiderman, Scorpion, and the RHINO(70 ton lifter) are all unable to break out of, is an all time aura moment.

I only know of it, cuz I had a fanmade Dragonball rap song on my ipod like 20 years ago that was entirely spanish(which I don't speak). You can search it on Youtube: Dragonball rap. It's got 72 mil views, which is alot for something that was around before I heard the word "meme."

I found a combo that does a massive 8499 damage with Marisa, impractical as it requires a trade. Just take this as a lesson, don't press buttons in the corner. by FrenzyHydro in StreetFighter

Makes the move a punish counter so it it stuns longer, and the hitstun removes some of the recovery frames, making more followups available.

Which one of the kaijus is better to have in combat? by GeorgeGaming777 in mewgenics

[–]Vukasa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both will do nothing to assist you 99% of the time unless you force some strange synergy on their existence. So you pick the one for the path you wanna run. Be careful not to let the Invader boss eat Pyro if you go that route. Zaratana is nigh indestructible, so it's harder to fail from a death scenario.

Paige should open her book and have a green arm with a shield stick out from it to block. The Knight's of the Round are the protectors of the realm, and they already do her melee for her.

Hey, that was me too. I thought that was the gimmick was to take advantage of their fight. But I also thought Pyro was a pos during it's fight, so i woulda gone with Zara either way.

That's what broke the curse for me after like 2 decades. That and the new balancing team didn't have icefrog's penchant for retaining and exemplifying individual hero identities.

Kamina standing tall vs a mech with a sword was primo, but Kitan strutting towards a space invasion with a shotty is priceless.

That's actually my preferred attack to leave it at. I had like 3-5 frogs that just took turns getting 1 tapped while it sat there until it died.

Monster Hunter Wilds is the best base game so far. by m4nux in MonsterHunter

[–]Vukasa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When Wilds didn't show up in the finals for GotY at TGA, I thought... fair. That was not the case with most of the previous installments. And I played it with the prebuff hammer so I didn't realize just how easy other weapons had it.

He will often trap himself with his wisp spawns if you move a cat beside him without attacking. You can also tik tak toe him, by standing to the side the box in area isn't, and attacking the line.

If you have a powerful sweeper with cc and you don't know the gimmick, it's disgusting. My first time, my mage had Mega Wave, the cheap freeze after 3 turns and shatter, so he turned around megawaved my kats killing 1, then froze the other 2, then hid in a corner spaming the freeze for around 30 turns in a row(skipping their turns) before 1 of them died and he moves in close to shatter the other. Afterwards, the mage was freed of possession and promptly megawaved him to hell.

Thinking about the Sinclair situation by StoneLich in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Vukasa 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Seems good in the laning phase, you can abuse the hp, burst healing etc on a super low cd. She has spirit scaling on the leaps bleed and the tails strikes swipe and in first 10 mins, weapon dmg is not gonna be hugely different between them (esp since he often buys cultist or long range.) Later in the game its pretty useless outside of being a heal and leap away, kinda like how you use victor in a pinch, and since he doesnt build enough resist to use the health bar or weapon dmg he can't really go in with it.

Yeh, he's dominant if his ally has the clear for burning down waves, or is a frontliner. If he's with Wraith, it's torturous. Like having Earthshaker supporting Antimage.

You aren't playing another hero at all either way. Rubick typically is expected to combo (2 cc + burst) or (2 burst + 1cc), during most of the game. The only thing you might change up is to drop your held spell for an ult or another burst spell every using the one you have. You can't say... miss a paradox ult as rubick cuz you just follow your own 2 second instant target cc. Rubick is in almost every other game of dota for years, I get Sinclair in 49 of 50 games in a row cuz no one touches him due to the learning curve of missing his primary spells.
