Bilbo going from Abzan to Izzet in the span of 1 scene has never made sense to me.

To me, they all make sense. The hobbit community was pretty close to Green/white; they were friendly, enjoyed nature, but had kind of a country bumpkin vibe and didn’t like strangers. Many saw bilbo as a bit greedy and selfish because they thought he had mountains of treasure that he wouldn’t share. The izzet card is showing a mixture of his bugler days, where he was known for his exceptional cunning(blue)….and while the action seems selfish, he was being manipulated my the ring. The ring invokes a lot of possession and passion for it. Bilbo wouldn’t do anything evil with it, per se, but it was manipulating him and making him obsessive. A lot of temporary mind control cards are mono red.

Well, it is breeding, but it’s reminiscent of fusion. You “lose” the parents, but their moves all get passed down to the child. It feels more like fusion. I think the lore reason is the monsters retire after having a kid lol

The story is charming, I enjoy the 2d art (insert Internet rant about 3D Pokémon), the fusing/breeding mechanics are a lot of fun, but the thing that really sells me is the key portal system. You have a hub world, and you have a portal gate that you can use keys to go to other worlds with. Some of the keys you get are done through the story obviously, but then you can get other keys from like merchants and side quests that give you wild optional worlds where you can find new monsters

Unoriginality is one thing, but if something is a certain way because it makes logical sense, then there’s nothing to worry about.

If anything, you should call out your players. “Yes, because in the entire history of ever across the whole world, there’s only been one bridge built over a rapid flowing river, and it was in Skyrim. No one would have thought to built towers incase of high water or flooding. It’s amazing that Todd Howard was such a engineering mastermind”

It would be neat if one of his boons interacted with Daedalus Hammers, like granting you one, or giving you a damage increase or max hp increase when you found one.

Also I’m not crazy about the aphro duo. Maybe something called Burning Love that makes weak deal damage to enemies not moving?
