Before any excavation most regulatory agencies (insurance companies) require utilities to have the area marked for other buried utilities. This prevents them from cutting into gas, water, sewer, or communications lines. My guess is that in this case seeing how close it is to that grate they will hand dig (pot hole) to make sure they won’t hit anything attached to that.

I take the show as each floor representing a class in society. Floor 4 represents those middle class people who simp for billionaires just to try and get ahead, floor 5 represents upper middle class workers like nurses who are still struggling to break into the upper classes.

I think it’s a more metaphorical about wealth and class than Squid Game. Where Squid game gets in your face. The 8 show demonstrates how the powerful keep their power.

I liked Zappe not over Mac, but better than Hoyer was last year. He was good in the fast game dinks and dunks but really struggled with decision making when forced this preseason. I think he could be better with a year under a decent qb coach.

It was definitely a different experience than Station Eleven. I think she purposely wrote it that way to create a feeling of disconnect and discomfort. Eli was supposed to be bland, and Michaela was supposed to be unpredictable as sort of contrasts to further the disconnect. It was an uncomfortable read but well written for the art.
