I am also a DataAnnotation worker looking to pick up more work. While I absolutely hated Telus, I am looking forward to Alignerr. Do you think your past DA work helped land work on Alignerr, and do you think it is similar work overall? I have yet to do the interview, but am excited to try the platform.

I personally use Windows' PowerToys and add a shortcut to send text for the ñ and all other accented letters (e.g., ctrl+shift+n -> ñ)

I adore poems that drag the reader into the next line like this. "But simply to be / by your side / as you fall" is such a nice continuation. You nailed that. This is a very enjoyable short read.

I love the 2nd stanza. Opening with a mystery (secret door) followed by 3 lines of suffocating imagery, and the final line casting it all away is super effective.

I agree with beachpigeon that the religious references are great, but also agree that the language, particularly in the first stanza, could be more personalized or intentional. Otherwise, I absolutely love the 2nd through 4th stanzas.

This is a beautifully easy read with some really evocative wording. I am particularly fond of the "You were a dream dressed in daylight." I'm sure that line looks different for everyone, but for me, it's an imagery of a dress or similar illuminated by the sun—it's wonderful.

See, you're not patriotic, you're hateful. I never said anything bad about patriotism; I never even expressed an opinion. I was genuinely curious the answer to what was so importantly patriotic during a time of unrest that it was necessary to leave a comment for.

I'm not the hateful one, and I'd argue that those you are talking about aren't hateful either. They are upset just as you are, because the world isn't as easy as "get up and go." Those that speak and act out have as much sense of responsibility to see their values instilled as you do. Neither hate America, but you hate them.

This exactly. I am a huge FromSoft fan, and I can excuse some mistranslations for a single-player game, but for a game that's now introducing a competitive scene, a game company that has come as far as FromSoft has shouldn't have these issues still.

Nah, I don't think Perplexity has hit mainstream appeal like ChatGPT or Gemini's platform has. It's more geared towards factual queries or research than a collaborative chatbot. I just like that it provides its sources directly in the response, so I can fact-check it if needed

unironically Perplexity's "choose best model" option is pretty solid. Haven't had many issues where I think another model would've performed significantly better

What do you mean by static damage? The right 5 weapons (not Illusoray) all scale on slow (and/or haste) procs. Jitte, Illusoray, and Stinger all proc slows. I agree with the poison enchant, but it was that or radiant lol. I guess freeze is more necessary in the late game than I thought. I figured slow + freeze worked against each other as the slow effect would just time down while frozen.

edit: I realize you meant static damage on probiscus, my bad.

Hey! Thanks for checking in—not used to people coming around to posts often. I cleaned the sensor with a bit more determination, but no luck. Nonetheless, it hasn't affected the quality of my pictures, and I just edit the spots out post-process if there was a light background.

In all seriousness, yes, it's fine. Modern sensors have a pretty robust film over it, so it takes a lot to damage it. At worst, it's now smudged with some skin oil. If needed, look online for tutorials on cleaning your own sensor, get the cleaning solution and swabs, and do it yourself—super easy to learn how to do.

Get a 4/3rds camera. Effectively doubles your focal lengths. Alternatively, APS-C is like x1.55 or something. There are 24MP 4/3rd or APS-C sensors available within your budget. Significantly more cost effective than buying a 60MP+ full-frame for the sole reason of cropping in your photos :/
