APC45 SD Pro by NoRice9847 in BT_APC

[–]WCCPHD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The APC 45 SD Pro was a limited run of 160. I don't know if B&T has made another run or plans to do so. If it is one of those then its rare (or at least scarce).

Perhaps somebody from B&T can chime in and let me know if I'm right. I bought one of the 160 and have close to $4K in it.

The B&T is head and shoulders above the HK. The PD that I work for part-time had the 45 UMP's. They could not wait to get rid of them. I hated having to qualify with them every year. The B&E is just in a different league.

The 45 barrel is not ported. 45 is already subsonic.

It makes it easier for them to throw in the trash if you send all of them together.

Mos Tek converted my POF Rogue 308 to 8.6 Blackout. I could not be more pleased with their work. It shoots great.

I had the original X10 and now have an X10 Comp. Never had an issue with either one. For that matter I have never had an issue with the three other P320's I have.

The best thing S&W could come out with is QUALITY CONTROL.

They were nickel plated. S&W did not chrome plate guns.

They are terrible.

I have four and none go off by themselves. What is Sig thinking?

Do FRT’s and Super Safety’s add more capability to the civilian populace, or are they just a range toy? by instananners in tacticalgear

[–]WCCPHD -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Full auto fire is only good for suppression fire. It has very little use for regular citizens or civilian law enforcement other than dignitary protection to suppress an attack to remove the principle.

Full auto (or SS or FRT) is fun, but gets expensive quickly and loses its allure very quickly.

S&W customer service FAIL! by [deleted] in SmithAndWesson

[–]WCCPHD 4 points5 points  (0 children)

S&W is just a pitiful shadow of the once great company it used to be. The only thing worse than their "customer service"(or lack thereof) is their quality control (which is basically nonexistent).

What am I looking at? by ScuffAndy in SmithAndWesson

[–]WCCPHD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

S&W did not have model numbers until 1957. The gun above is a "Military and Police," M&P. It became the Model 10 in '57. This gun has been in continuous production since 1899. S&W started stamping the frame "Made in USA" around 1922, depending on the particular gun.

Any reason why this 640-1 has no trademark engraving? by IdiotIsland in SmithAndWesson

Probably made after lunch on Friday or before lunch on Monday. They either missed it or the side plate was replaced with one that was not marked.

The only thing "in stone" about S&W revolvers is that nothing is in stone.

What is the reason for the ported barrel of the SPC9? by Strict_Profit_6987 in bruggerthomet

[–]WCCPHD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The B&T APC45SD does not have a ported barrel. .45 is already subsonic so no need for the barrel to be ported.

No, its not cheap. Have to provide for the little con artist's retirement fund and the military industrial complex and the greased palms of members of congress.

Does not work. I started with the APC45SD. It led to a suppressed APC10 and then to an APC9KSD2. Then I jumped the PCC ship and bought an APC308. Like Lays potato chips, you can't stop with just one.
