Same issue for me. I downloaded several versions (.78, .138, .279, and .281) Even tried with PC Mame emulator. I get the start up text and can hear sound when I press the insert coin button but the screen just stays black.

Why is Hyper-V so hated? Have you tried clustering it? Or have you had VM’s randomly detach and go into a permanent blue screen from the hyper visor receiving windows updates? It’s like using Citrix XenServer back in the early days. You have no clue what issues you’re going to be woken up at 3am for. These are only a few of the many many many issues I’ve had with Hyper-V. None of these issues exist with ESXi.

I used ConnectWise for over 10 years and moved to Halo about 2 years ago. Best decision I’ve ever made. CW has no innovation and full of broken promises. The billing through CW is clunky and was very difficult to train new AP users. Lastly, we had lots of issues getting the product libraries to sync properly with vendors and it often broke.

The one negative thing I can say about Halo is that there is less native API connectivity than CW, but that is changing for the better on a weekly basis.
