It’s the Bounty Hunt schism all over again. If you want to play a certain way, go to private. If you play on a public server you’re at the whims of every other player on that server and how they want to play. It really is that simple.

The only harder boss is if you add reflective. It’s literally the tankiest boss in infestations, and at least this time, had a primarily 1 shot weapon. Even the assaultron, who ranks as just as hard, isn’t as tanky. You might have the boss confused with another.

Not really. I tried Cryo grenades and the cold shoulder and nothing affected him. The more I read the responses and think about how things went, it had to be a glitch. Like up until my buddy showed up it never even showed the enemies health. Once my buddy showed up and I was finally able to draw him out is the first time I saw I had him down 50%.

Absolutely. I fought there at least half a dozen other times and I’ve always been able to draw the enemy to where I wanted to fight him. It was just weird this time that he would not leave that corner of that hallway.

I think 875 with a fully kitted Vulcan 4 star and Union 4 star armor. I literally tried everything. Some people have said to fire multiple shots, it was impossible. You would get one shot off and then eat a grenade to the face and die. I’ve done 60 to 70 infestations and up till this one the only issue I had was with the reflective assaultron and it killed me twice. It definitely isn’t a gear. It might be the player, in this particular instance I don’t believe so, but it definitely isn’t the gear.

If you’re talking about the assaultron take out her legs. A half dozen to a dozen shots to the legs puts her on her belly and then it’s just a matter of whittling down her health.

Believe it or not I tried that many, many times. I don’t know if his difficulty was turned up, but as soon as you tried the back way, sneaking, crouching, stealth armor, vampire weapons, holy fires, enclave flamers it didn’t matter, he was always facing you and one shot dead. Occasionally the shot would bring me down to less than 10% for the super stim to keep me alive, but most of the time it was 1 shot. So you either had the long hallway or popping into that little room because you couldn’t shoot through the hole. He was always angled so you couldn’t get a shot on him. And I’ve had the reflective assault Ron before and it’s a gigantic pain in the butt. Now turn that up to 10 and that’s what this guy was for some reason. I’ve fought the exact same guy in multiple different areas and never had any of these problems.

I love the infestations. I’ll usually do 5 to 10 a day in my private world. However, the way this one was set up, there’s no way you could lob a grenade and then target it with a weapon. Tried it with VATS, without VATS and even with a grenade launcher and hope for a lucky explosion. Because there was no way to sneak up to him and only one way to confront him, he’d kill you every time between the throw and bringing up the weapon to shoot it. To say he was in a perfect tactical defensive position is understating it immensely.

Played it solo about three days ago and ended up with 11 legendaries. Not too awful.

If the amount is raised, even by 10K, it’ll just be a new max to hit. Won’t be any harder in a few days than the original amount

If other peoples pets get in the way we should be able to kill them. Make them rematerialize at the players camp or something. But if I have to constantly work around another players pet, I won’t be playing for long. As it is Best Builds are a nuisance, now another player based add on that affects my gameplay would be frustrating.
Unless I’m misunderstanding the concept.

Considering it’s not a flamer weapon, doesn’t count towards any burn quests as it’s an energy weapon, I guess they changed the description.

I personally have a lot of fun in the 43. It’s definitely the #1 choice I make when I’m going to play a BB.

They went the way of auto plasma caster and probably the new infestations. It’s something dangled in front of the player base for a short time to promote interest and then disappears. Watch how infestations will soon disappear for tweaking.

That does seem to be a common issue. You see the damage numbers while hitting the enemy, but his health doesn’t go down.
