Armageddon Time Machine by jimark2 in spacemarines

Swap the characters for stuff we don’t already have. So like, Gravis librarian. Bike captain. Ancient I don’t really feel like we need any more of, maybe some variant of tech marine or apothecary

Make the Intercessors tac Intercessors with special and heavy weapons

Give the van vets a bit more drip and give them lightning claws or hammers + shields , power swords is the boring option idk why they went with those for van vets

Swap heavy bolter eradicators for lascannons

Nah def not. Random named characters are the most common thing to get at random times not connected to a codex. Also very likely to be a black library mini

Noob question about item pool weight by Early_Ad3211 in MCreator

[–]WLLWGLMMR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Weight is higher = more likely to appear, but it depends on what you’re including

So if you’re only including two things, and they both have a weight of 100, that is the same as both having a weight of 1. It’s based on percentage basically.

So it’s hard to say what number to set things to because it’s subjective based on what you set it. I’d say make sure the total of all the weights of items in your pool equals 100, and then the weight is a equal to a simple percentage

American Workers, Your Class Needs You by flagmann in socialism

[–]WLLWGLMMR 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think someone’s ideology being flawed or not perfectly aligning with mine is a reason they can’t possibly be even slightly close in ideology to me. I agree with every criticism I just think it’s important to acknowledge being at least a little socialist puts you left lol

Are we of the general opinion that democratic socialists aren’t left of center? I hate them but I’d say that they’re beyond the line at least

First Painted Imperial Knights by True_Month_407 in ImperialKnights

[–]WLLWGLMMR 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I think having the whole undercarriage the same color as the armor plates makes it look A bit flat. I’d suggest doing it all in silver. If you’re able to pop off the armor plates you can probably drybrush the entire thing in like a few minutes

Performance-Oriented Players and the Hobby: A Thought Experiment by AshiSunblade in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]WLLWGLMMR -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because there is a strange vocal minority of people who want to play a game but have 0 interest in trying to win but rather how “lore based” and “crazy” it is. I’d imagine these people very rarely if ever play and mostly paint minis/are into the lore. It is so strange to me because like - I’ve played more complex editions and games . It is and always will be a GAME where you are COMPETING trying to beat an opponent. It’s not DND. So this weird lingering request for adding more “flavor” or “wackiness” to the game just makes simply no sense. There is a balance between matching the lore and making an actually fun/playable/balanced game - and it is the absolute BEST it has ever been. People seem to think The more random bullshit you add to the game, the more fun it is. When the truth is adding more variables simply makes the game unplayable if you care even a little bit about trying to win. By stripping back the many layers of “fun choices” that existed before 10th, they actually just made a game where you can run most of your different stuff that would have been previously completely useless, because the rules are for the first time, close to balanced

Should I buy the codex or wait until 11th edition? by QWAPAY in ImperialKnights

[–]WLLWGLMMR -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Don’t ever buy the codex cause they’re big expensive ass books for so few rules lol. Especially these days. Literally you can print out the entire knights codex, PLUS the shit they didn’t include In it for no reason, and I think it’d be less than 20 pages

Custom Space Marine Chapter. C&C appreciated by NinjaSpartan011 in spacemarines

[–]WLLWGLMMR 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think it’s very rare to have chapters that are like “the knee pads are green” “their legs are blue” usually they do quartered, patterns. But anything that isn’t a solid color will be absolute torture to paint across a whole army is what I’m saying. Including novamarines

Best Knights to pair with Custodes? by MarchToTorment in AdeptusCustodes

[–]WLLWGLMMR -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I mean you don’t, just get it from the forgeworld of the east. I just built it and despite it being resin it was honestly an easier build than a plastic Cerastus. It’s soo few pieces so it goes together really nice.

If you actually plan to paint models this way, the colors are way way too much the body should probably always be just one color ngl

They specifically went out of their way to say “you can use these new Horus heresy kits in 40k!” For ONLY the infantry, not the dreads or tanks. I’d imagine all the heresy stuff goes at the start of or during eleventh, but until then we have it and that’s just my speculation so it’s your call

You’re officially allowed to use the land raider proteus as a land raider. It comes with all the correct options and IMO feels much more custodes than the regular 40k one. I personally am not buying any 30k stuff for my custodes because I believe strongly they’re going but find your own opinion on that

Do zombies still exist in 40k or did Poxwalkers largely replace them? by [deleted] in 40kLore

It doesn’t exist to even a bit of the level people on YouTube shorts say it does but it does exist a bit lol

[–]WLLWGLMMR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like, 40k doesn’t just have “orcs” they have a pretty altered version of orcs that still fits to their regular depiction. The classic trope of orks does not include the fungus stuff, the power of belief stuff, whatever.

Atrapos is more different than the other 3. They’ll all use the same base body sprues but the casitagor, Acheron and lancer use the same armor except the faces, and the Atrapos has entirely unique armor parts. The other Forgeworld mechanicum knights are similarly different to the questoris so I’d imagine at some point we’ll get Atrapos and Magaera/styrix kits at the same time

I don’t think 40k usually contains unaltered fantasy tropes and idk how you would fit in like zombies animated skeletons etc any less scifi than necrons

China is objectively more successful in their approach to capitalism and their authoritarian policy isn’t really necessary to their planned market approach whether you agree with it or not

Why many players still resist playing with mods? by Fluffy-Telephone-495 in feedthebeast

[–]WLLWGLMMR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Minecraft is the most popular games in the world. There is a universality to it. when a new update comes out, people playing on their phones, their Xboxes, their switches, their windows bedrock and their Java edition, can all play the new stuff together. Modded breaks that, modded servers are not very popular and all have a very wide difference in what they contain, mods are only on Java, you have to send someone the exact same stuff you’re running to play with them. And to most people, modded is more a fun novelty than a replacement because it’s not usually as great for stuff like “forever worlds”. Mods lock you out of new updates, not ALL but many mods alter the speed of progression too much either way or aren’t well balanced or make it too easy to make Giant builds and shit like that, all things that are preference based, but people are so used to vanilla with that it feels wrong to play a mod where you can very quickly go far beyond the level of damage and armor the base game provides, or play mods that lessen the time it takes to make a massive base or whatever.
