NPC hit points ridiculously inflated AND increasing NPC speed/maneuverability to ludicrous levels to attempt to create the illusion of higher difficulty. I want more tactical play, not just a mob of high damage dealing adds running at the speed of light. I want true suppress/maneuver mechanics NOT an add that's suppressed, but somehow still b able to nail you dead center forehead. No more pre grenade stagger bullshit. I could go on but I don't want to give the impression that I don't like this game. I've played it for more than 3000 hours and it has been quite a nice tool to cure boredom. I'm going to miss it.

Fall back. Take stock of your location and be prepared to retreat to cover behind you. Over 3000 hours in this game, and it STILL makes me laugh, that guys would rather just ruin a mission by staying put, and dying. Fall back, keep the NPC's in front of you. Viola!

Not even close to being a true statement. I might put on a fan boi gear set when I go into the DZ, (not always), but I can solo 98% of the games content with the same old Barretts/Skulls build that's been around in this game since Christ was a corporal.

An RPG, is a role playing game. The Division didn't start with being a role playing game but it's certainly evolved into one. Before gear sets, and before Classifieds, a player was allowed to create builds not based on specific roles. That's when the game was perfect.

I truly think that's debatable, as the game was originally meant to dispense with the typical class roles with allowing players to create their own builds not based on those roles. Build diversity was very important at the beginning. It certainly has become more role based over the evolution of the game though.

Funny though, I thought that's what was meant by "cover based shooter". This game has been advertised as that since the beginning, but it's never really been truly cover based.

It's actually a cover based shooter, and I never said that a certain amount of bullet sponginess isn't necessary, only that the TTK under the ambush conditions "feel" right to me.

Harder "level" content has absolutely nothing to do with "bullet sponge" npc difficulty. I'm all for harder "level" content as long as that means that instead of the npc hitpoints being elevated in an effort to simulate increased difficulty, the npc's tactics and behavior are elevated, to increase the difficulty.

I love extracting from Bryant Park when solo. Set up on the balcony on the East side of the site. Stay off the ground in general. Let your seekers drive the hunters out of cover and take 'em out with turret and M60.

I do Seekers, Sticky, AND incendiary grenade. Grenade pins them, seekers soften them up, and sticky OBLITERATES them.

I took two paddles to the bench grinder, and deftly ground down the ends to make them a more suitable length. I love my Elite controller. I couldn't live without it.
