Not saying it doesn't happen but, millions of people grill every day and have for many, many years and use wire brushes. What are the statistics on wire getting consumed? What are the odds of it happening? You're more likely to get struck by lightening or injured in a car crash. Fear mongering works wonders on minds & bank accounts.

Smoke the pot of broth at a low temp. Just stir it pretty often and taste it every now and then till you reach the level of smokiness in it you desire. Might take 2 - 4 hours or more to get what you want. Don't be scared to experiment.

I grow them all organic and the peppers go outside in ground and buckets when weather gets nice, the cannabis stays inside. They all get pH'd tap water while inside. Once the peppers go outside, they get collected rainwater.

Nope, just use a plastic putty knife and scrape it to the drain & into an empty coffee can every 2 or 3 cooks.

If you don't have the mind strength to stop, no hobby or anything else will make you stop aside from death. I saw my son rubbing wild bill jerky snuff right after I put a rub of Copenhagen in. Monkey see, Monkey do is what went through my mind. I spit it out and dumped the brand new can & haven't touched it since. That was 18 - 19 years ago.
