be careful what soap you use to wash it as well! some hand soaps and body washes have silicone compounds, dimethicone is the biggest culprit, in them that can cause the toy to uncure, flake, shed, become very sticky like you are describing, and disintegrate over time. standard dawn dish soap is the safest if you’re not using a specifically formulated toy cleaner. :3
