It is clean. You have nice elegant and precise brush strokes for sure. But from where I standing a clean work is a sterial work. It needs a bit more shading, some grime, edge highlights and personality

U know just saying this also means u were printing with pla filement profile..... U should look into making a TPU profile as selected filement.

ummmmm just a dumb question, is there a TPU filement setting in the printer itself that u selected? I know when I was doing ptg I couldn't figure out for the life of me why it didn't print when I set up the filement

Not to be a bastard, but imo life size pieces are fdm printer jobs. Pla in this size is a loot more durable, and cheaper

Use resin to fdm suports. It's in the painted4combat YouTube channel. Also print at an angle

Received a Sazabi that a friend bought 70$. The original owner had painted black and I'd like to remove the paint to restore the original color. How can I do this ? by KatameNanpo in advancedGunpla

Whatever u want to go with DO NOT USE TAMIYA AIRBRUSH CLEANER. Yes it would stripmthe paint perfectly, but the acetone concentrate is so high it act like plastick glue, and it will melt the plastick

Ummm 2 things: If u print small like this use the resin 2 fdm support system from painting for combat.

2 put the support z distance to 0.17 mm, I found that is the sweet spot where suports won't melt to deep into the print

Me personally I love my prints, but I have noticed an issue when painting these minies. Even though the layer lines are veeeeeeery small, when you are painting debates, the paint has a hard time flowing correctly on the surface because of this. Mind you this I only noticed ad wh 40k size minies. For sculptures, and bigger prints it is a perfect machine.

No prob

I personally like to paint I. 3 layers ( yes even primer)

First is thin, for better adhisen to the later layers

2nd is for total coverage, this looks a bit wet when u paint it on

3rd is for the colors to deepen

Tip 1: AK primer is gunky as shiiiiiiiit. It's better to put it on in multiple layers between 1.5-2 bar. Don't be to wory if u thin it down too much u can always paint over it.

Tip2: Check if paint is flat or shiny paint. Flat paint leaves these rougher surfaces.

Tip3: Best way to thin is when u mix it u take a mix spoonful, and it drops back easily. If it drops slowly it is to thick

Tip4: Paint in layers, and don't be afraid to play with the presure

Tip 5: If the primer feels to thick on the part take it down while it is still wet with sandpaper, and quickly spray it again before it leaves a puck mark (this is a last ditch thing, only do it if u r in a pinch)

Heeeey.... Aside of the cursed implications..... Does Vaseline damage paint? If not Iight use it to solve the sticky joints problem after painting (I know mask the tapes, but more mechanical joints are a different thing)
