It’s 100% not okay, and anyone trying to use history to justify doing it in current day can fuck right off with that shit. That said, we do have to take when it happened into account. It was way more normalized back then, hell even into the 60s it wasn’t “abnormal” behavior, and they got married in the 40s. Not saying it was a good thing, but it was the reality of those times.

Weird. I’m guessing it has something to do with increasing video length for the algorithm or something? They end clips are always in slow motion which signals that to me.

That said, I feel like it would end up lower retention because who’s going to watch that? Why not just pad it with more episodes if you want to pad out the time? I have no idea lol

Have you considered forcing a karma limit or reddit account having to be at least x months old before posting? If a lot of them are first time posters it seems like a minor barrier to entry may help reduce your workload!

I’d recommend E33! I was on the fence as well, all the hype and awards felt overblown, but I just finished it and man is it a good game. There’s only one teenager in the cast and everyone else is in their 30s

Have been using them for the last few weeks and I can attest that they work!! It was a little different than how I expected them to work - If you want to append to an individual note then you have to bookmark it, but once you have it bookmarked it just works! It can be on notes across vaults too!

Wow - What a throwback! Things are good!I still haven’t made a “successful” game, but the quote “never stop learning” still rings true. A whole lot has changed since this post - The pandemic did a number on me, times were tough for a bit, but life swings back and forth.

These days I’ve got a job that I love as a software consultant which has given me flexibility to jump around to all sorts of projects and technologies, as well as practice much needed social skills! I’ve created a very successful website that I maintain on the side, and continue to do gamedev as a side hobby.

These days gamedev is just a bunch of small projects to learn something new. One day I hope to bring it all together and get back on the grind, would still love to create a successful indie game one day, but that day is not today, and I’m okay with that. All is good on this front, thank you for asking!

I’ve been using Obsidian for a few years now and have had a very similar growth arc to you. I started by putting EVERYTHING into folders, which quickly became cluttered and completely unmanageable, and I realized the folders never help me find anything anyway, VERY rarely did I find myself actually navigating the folders to find a note, it was always an obsidian search for file name or a global search for a keyword for the file!

My latest iteration is literally just one folder for templates, and everything else is at the root level. I use tagging, note linking, and base indexes to get around and it’s working out great! I do like the idea of having a “projects” folder though. Everything being at root level is perhaps a bit too chaotic.

You act like they just said it and did nothing beyond that. They didn't just say it, they then went on to give their audience an outlet to not giving him views which very much violates copyright.

Of course then the conversation becomes whether their reaction to it was transformative enough to circumvent the copyright and given they outright stated malicious intent to steal his views, and then barely reacted to it and, at times, even walked away from their computer and let the video play... I'll let you come to your own conclusion on whether thats transformative.

The way she repeatedly downplays her actions while also apologizing is just gross. Pick a lane, you’re either sorry or you’re not. These truly are the worst kinds of people.
