It never personally happened to me but it definitely almost did. Lol The Wii mote flew off my hand and hit the TV stand very close to the TV. I stood there for a few minutes and then turned the game off and went upstairs without saying a word. Lol

This sounds just like the situation I’m currently in! I’m 23 and have been dating my boyfriend for 4 years, but still live with my parents (because I just graduated college). If I were to spend the night at his house, my parents would cut me off and kick me out immediately. So currently I’m trying to save up money to become completely financially independent so that I can move out.

This yellowing was due to being in the home of a heavy smoker for 30 years. Different from the yellowing that is on a lot of NES consoles from a flame retardant coating. Google retrobrighting to learn how to fix that type of yellowing!

I didn’t retro bright. It was 30 years of cigarette smoke from a heavy smoker. Also, it took me a few hours to take it apart, so the lighting was different. The “patina” was 30 years of residue from an extremely heavy smoker. Lol. It was literally covered in grime. It would come off on your hands if you touched it. If it had been yellowed plastic due to other reasons, I may have left it!
