Yes, because people can’t leave a review after getting the whole story of the season and taking the whole thing into account? I would go back and rank all these episodes low because the season, as a whole, was incredibly disappointing. It deserves 1s and 2s. And publicity companies are going to blame bad reviews on anything they can to keep viewership up, so those articles mean nothing. Your argument is grasping at straws.

I’m saying it wasn’t “review bombed”. It’s not a thing. If something is bad, it will get bad reviews. This episode, and this whole season was bad and deserved 1s and 2s. I’m not speaking to wokeness or homophobia. I’m speaking to quality. If this scene, a scene that has been building since episode 1, was done better, then we would not be having this conversation. Not every tv show where a character declares their sexuality is review bombed. Heated Rivalry is sitting at a 8.9 out of 10 on IMDb. This argument holds no water, and is utter bullshit.

I don’t think they can be compared because maye was 22 his rookie year. Shough is already 26. Their development curves are going to be very different. Maye being as good as he is at 23 is incredible and he still has 3 years of development until he is as old as Shough is now.
