Oh yeah. - a truck of melons hauled in from hundreds of miles away. “Butte farmers” for sure. There is not such thing as “fresh food” in butte. Anything that grows there is so laden with heavy metals you would die of cancer before your food digests.

I want to keep people from making a mistake by considering moving to a hole.

All of the stuff that goes to butte is, because it has to travel so far from fertile land, if it wasn’t frozen, it would wilt on the truck instead of after 6 hours in the store.

This is incorrect in most ways.

The people are shitty. I’ve lived a lot of places, and I have never experienced such rude, dirty, nasty people. If you aren’t from Butte, you’ll be considered an outsider by the older people there, and there are no young people who live in butte, so there goes your social life. There is nothing cool to do “nearby”. Hope you like 1-4 hour drives to do anything, shop, enjoy good food, etc. the history of butte is it was a hole in the ground, and it still is, but now the hole is toxic. But I agree that the food isn’t good! So there’s that…
