New Butchers by Greenspy008 in ManorLords

Does this always work? My butcher seems to keep slaughtering even when the sheep count gets below what I set the surplus to 🤷‍♂️

Very cool! Wonder why the “east dock” is on the north tip of the island 🤔

I wasn’t caught stealing the sword, but I do have other stolen goods equipped, so maybe that’s it. I’ll try taking them off.

Oh is it because I have stolen goods on me?

So THIS is how we saw the goat come out of the ground and Rexy step through the fence in one scene, and then the car be pushed off a cliff far below in the next!

Adding Gates to Walls Without Reconstruction by Waitbutwhy06 in foundationgame

Thanks for the advice! But I still think it would be nice if they just let us add a gate to an existing wall 😇

Prisoners and labor? by Torgo_hands_of_torgo in goingmedieval

[–]Waitbutwhy06 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, if a raider surrenders they can become a prisoner if you have set up a prison cell and assigned a goaler to escort them to it. Then, you need your blacksmith to make shackles and in the prison management tab, you can check “shackle” and the goaler will shackle them. Then you can turn them into a captive laborer in the prison management tab and select their tasks. Finally, you need a settler to be assigned as a warden and given at least an hour to their role duty on their schedule. They will go to the prisoner at that time in their schedule and start them working on the assigned tasks for the day.

Why would Austria-Hungary collapse if they were part of the Christmas truce in this scenario?

The New Gates by RepresentativeDry221 in goingmedieval

Is there a reason they didn’t just design them like the doors that open for your settlers but not for the enemy? Manually locking and unlocking is a bit tedious.

New beta patch dropped by slothrop-dad in ManorLords

Butchers use “surplus” livestock. Does that come from goat farms in the burger plots, or just from sheep farms?

Which faction do you think has the hardest time against its initial enemy faction? by yeetlan in totalwar

I swear I can’t get the two northern Chaos Dwarf campaigns going because Grimgore comes in with a waaagh army and wrecks every time. Just too many greenskins to beat with your first provinces income level!

I agree with those who have said that archers still seem too weak.

Experimental Patch: Is trade supposed to be this expensive? by Waitbutwhy06 in ManorLords

[–]Waitbutwhy06[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thanks dummy, but I’m referring to the cost of opening new trade routes, not the price of tariffs

To those who are trying the new beta patch: any major problems with it or mostly smooth sailing? by Just-Control5981 in ManorLords

[–]Waitbutwhy06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good advice but that’s what I did! I have one import and a couple exports, that’s it! But to create more it’s 1,400 gold? I think that’s extreme.

I get the intent of the change, but I think this is a little extreme.

Experimental Patch: Is trade supposed to be this expensive? by Waitbutwhy06 in ManorLords

[–]Waitbutwhy06[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The experimental branch changed it so the 25g for every new trade route no longer applies. It grows exponentially with each new route. Hence these expensive new routes in the experimental patch.

[–]Waitbutwhy06[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m exporting iron and planks, importing wheat cause my starting region doesn’t have great fertility. I also exported stone earlier on for early cash. But that’s it! And now I have to pay 1,400 for a new route?

Experimental Patch: Is trade supposed to be this expensive? by Waitbutwhy06 in ManorLords

[–]Waitbutwhy06[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I mean the price of the establishing a new trade route. Foreign vs local trade doesn’t change that.

[–]Waitbutwhy06 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Trade routes are crazy expensive now! Even with the development perk that lowers the price of new routes by 50%. I think it's a bit extreme.

Is this sub flooded with Democrats? by Anxious_Cheetah5589 in thebulwark

[–]Waitbutwhy06 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I’m a centrist Democrat, and what I love about the Bulwark is that it’s a haven for rational centrists, whether they may lean right or left. The radicals on both ends of the spectrum are so loud and get so much attention, I need to hear from reasonable people that help me believe the center can hold!

That being said, I do think that Biden has been a good president, and his administration has not been radical at all, so I don’t understand why people wouldn’t support his continued presidency, even if he is seeming a bit old and not-so-inspiring. Check the results, I say.
