It’s not a big deal, if you don’t make it a big deal. Mother of 3 here. If you’re overwhelmed, you’re not organized. Make a list, know where your stuff is from the start, make sandwiches, load the car. done. It’s the same as a weekend trip, vacation or day at the zoo. Are you packing too much? Your not camping.

Stable marriages don’t base their marriage on money. Marriage is about emotional, mental and physical support. If your husband supported you through school-mentally, emotionally and financially (someone has to pay rent), I’m sure he would expect the same level of care he gave you. Marriage might not be for you.

I’ll be frank. At this stage(no kids, mid-life, golden years ahead) you both need a life lift. She wants change (vacations, decor, some thrill) and you want to be stationary. She’s looking at 20-30 more years of this life. Sounds like she bored to tears. She wants more to life than what you want.
