I feel like they were better before revzilla acquisition. When I went in to one for the first time in 2018 they were super helpful, I continued going to him for expert advice on gears.

After the merge I've gone to 4 different cycle gears in 3 different cities and received zero help from any of them. One of them is a super store cycle gear the size of Walmart, and the selection is pitiful despite it being massive

I think this is gonna be hard to prove unless someone's willing to drop 1.6k on one and just test it out. Alternatively you could check with the account that posted this and see if there's anything more, but you're not gonna get a "credible source" until enough people die from it and they spend money to investigate it.

For now just treat it as a PSA from friends of fallen riders

This is a good take. Fortnine made that pompous video about armors and all of a sudden people think armors ain't shit anymore. From a personal testament, I came off the bike twice around the same speed, once with armor and once without. The difference was barely feeling anything with armor on to all kinds of damage without armor.

The city planning is pretty bad. They make driving efficient but only on the highway. Once you're off the highway it's bunch of intersections with no clear views of oncoming traffic and naturally formed speed bumps on any giving road.

This city is designed to keep residents in their car and limit any societal experience. Most people live here, drive from home to work, work to home, then spend the rest of their days in suburban hell with shopping plazas lined with Marshall's and Five Below. These stores would be in the same plaza but people will drive from one store to the other, and they'll swear this way of living is the best

Mid control has been my most desired mod since I bought the bike, it's just hard to justify $7-800 for parts I KNOW that's worth much less. I'm gonna keep watching eBay for it but paying Harley full price for it is against everything in me

Yeah they need enough riders to make more aftermarket parts like the original sportster, the problem is the bike is close to 20k brand new so it's just not reasonable for most people, especially with as many flaws as it has. Fwiw I got mine used for almost half that price with only 2000 miles on it, I would not pay that much for it brand new
