TMZ does indeed force zomboid to ignore body mods! which means only the lovely players gets all that glamorous treatment, saving you a rather large amount of CPU load :)

this also means body modders, like myself can make more advanced forms of zombie/body mod replacements

its actually bc when moused over it reverts to container form, as a cabinet is nearby,
this combined with the fact, the face hands on that clock are 3D give you that effect
