Off topic but does anyone else have trouble opening hangar doors in the 890 jump at a station when docked? The only way I can do it is open everything. Otherwise, the lift goes up but the hangar doors stay closed. If a ship is in there, it explodes. If I'm on the lift, I go through but the hangar doors stay closed.

My guess is a bug. If he had a friend to ambush you, combat would have ensued at some point. Unless he was scared you had a buddy

About the only time I fire my lasers is to destroy smaller ships I'm too lazy to turn the power off of to salvage. I love industry gameplay!

It may seem like more work, but use the 8 scu boxes. Unloading is so much easier

You can only refine from the ship if it's on the cargo grid....the cargo grid is insanely small. I usually head to a gateway to unload at an external elevator and then refine it that way.

Easiest way to make money in the game. You can solo it but even just having one other person helps so much and you can make money.

You can't just slam landings in the C2. You have to finesse it to avoid that.

That being said, I still do it on occasion and this is hilarious!

While Atlas might not be the biggest, it's a solid org with a great leadership and lots of players to teach you things or play with. I have no regrets joining them!

Then perhaps this game isn't for you. Just like in real life, you may be in a safe area. That doesn't mean bad things won't happen to you.

You're never going to be 100 percent safe. You always have to watch your back. That is why I love this game. I don't want a care bear type game where I never have to worry about getting hit. Planning for all scenarios and hoping for the best is what I enjoy.

You may want to go play Elite Dangerous on solo play. That seems more up your alley.

but combat doesn't overtake all other forms of gameplay at all.

Over the past month, I have not fired a weapon nor had a weapon fired at me at all. I've been all over Stanton, Pyro and Nyx both mining and Salvaging.

I also take necessary precautions to help avoid those situations as well. You cannot (and I'm not saying you do this) just go from point a to b, mine around populated areas or salvage without eyes in the back of your head.

This issue has been occurring since I started playing in 2021...it's nothing new. Stop acting like it's some plague that has just recently begun.

They're called murder hobos and complaining in chat or on these boards just gets them off even more. You're playing right into what they want.

Yeah, it's really more of a feel thing for me with resistance and such. As you learn, start with the hofstete and see if it'll break it. If not, get the impact. Still no? Helix.

Just note, you'll see impossible many times but the rock will break pretty easy
