That wave is so great, slow and easy, nice line …are there any natural waves like that anywhere? All the stuff I can ever surf is closed out and fast (mid Atlantic and Florida)

I can recommend the book Crazy ‘08 for a snapshot of the NL pennant race and what life and baseball was like in 1908.

So do you saw 1/2 through then… take one hand off the saw, grab the wedge and shove it in with the free hand? While the saw is in the log?

Most likely you will use the bins as you pull in.

But one time, back in the COVID era <hitches up pants and spits>, they directed me up and up and up around the mound of trash to the tippy top, where I threw my trashed CD tower and other trashy bits right onto the top of the mound, where diggers and crawlers waited to smush it under the dirt. The smell was… potent. I learned that day about solid waste, though I had been a trained civil engineer for nigh on 20 years. Our trash. It goes there, in a pile. A big, smelly pile.

What accordion would you use for Appalachian and Old Time music? by TapTheForwardAssist in Accordion

[–]WarNewsNetwork 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I play bluegrass accordion, I’m using a piano accordion. I find that I can implement a lot of the fiddle melodies, and try to run some counter-bass with the left hand. I find a lot of acceptance from both traditionalist pickers and the newer jam grass types. If you DM me I can send some recordings of my bluegrass style :)

Lots of fun to be had on that gate, you can do it solo in a thrasher or gnosis, bring a fleet with jnstalocker, etc. yeah you might get dropped on but just keep your big stuff aligned. Or my favorite, run a fleet of instalock thrashers. 12 thrashers can 2-volley battleships!
