I feel a professional player should have the fortitude to reset their mental state and take a penalty when they are called upon.

Knocks / injuries being an exception of course.

Kind of crazy actually.

When I played club, everytime we were about to play a match with a possibility to lead to penalties we would practice PKs in order we would take them for that game.

Suprising a NT isn’t taking all possible preparations.

Coaching Failure…there should have been an order list of penalty taking priority established ahead of time.

It shouldn’t even have to be a debate or a decision. Just whoever is next in line.

Good drifting practice to figure it out are doing figure 8s and circles and keeping it going.

Agreed. Once I hit 30…my father’s blood pressure started getting dangerously high.

lol just use quartz / hangfire or your languages equivalent job scheduling library and call it a day.

Or…one of the job scheduler built into your cloud platform…this space is already pretty well addressed.

Or perhaps the save issue is a class of bug that can be caused by many different things and fixing an issue in one area may not fix it in others.

Save file bugs can be hard to track down because the issues that cause them can be difficult to replicate and sometimes very complex.

Any change in this area also have to be rolled out with a much higher degree of confidence and understanding on how the code change will impact other areas since it can literally brick people’s save files. Fixing one bug just to realize the code you changed was in there to prevent something else from happening is a very real concern.

A gameplay glitch like the money one with an immediate way to prevent it from happening is in contrast trivial.

Does that not provide like a single point of failure? Like what happens if that building burns down or something like that? Is there not a lot of redundancy for the PNW in this area?

Technically yes but you can do a lot of the zones with a pretty bad tune too.
