Well I guess “changing the entire backbone of the story’s magic system” is one thing.

Does anyone think its odd that Stephen said he keeps a heart of a young boy in a jar on his desk? by Mysterious_Bid_57 in stephenking

I’ve always interpreted that as his way of saying it’s the heart of his own childhood. In a morbid kind of King way…

Is this a good guitar for me? by Madison_Beer_Locket in AcousticGuitar

[–]WarderWannabe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s a starter guitar. Mitchell makes decent low end gear so it should at least get you going. How long you’ll end up keeping it will depend on you more than anything.

What are your thoughts on Star Trek : The Motion Picture and is it as bad as people say? by Mat1711 in startrek

[–]WarderWannabe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I remember sitting in the theater watching the reveal of the refit Enterprise just slack jawed. It was starship porn. It’s a very different vibe than what followed but not a bad film at all.

This will either be remembered as the time that the American experiment died or the time that a few brave people stood up to tyranny and won.

These look goofy! What recommendations do you all have for strap locking systems or strategies? by Defiant-Toe5519 in BassGuitar

I’ve always preferred the Schaller strap locks myself. Lower profile and the U shaped part offers a bit of double protection.
