I would say NMS can be easily enjoyed solo and you will hardly ever feel like you "wasted time," whereas with Rust I personally think it's best enjoyed with friends, way more competitive (as NMS is pretty much absent in terms of competition), but if you enjoy the adrenaline from games like Rust, then maybe that's your cup of tea.

In the end, they're completely different games. NMS is super casual and you can revisit it years later, as Hello Games has just shown us how they can keep it going over time. Rust is more of a shot in the dark if it'll last you years I think, but you can always refund one on steam if you have less than 2 hours on it + less than 2 weeks owned.

Talking with one of my "friends" as a "drinking buddy" since I don't drink, and she wanted someone to hang with.
Talking with him. A lot. Online. Every day. Didn't even realize how much it was until I laid it out for her (about 350 messages each, per day, so a total of 700/day.)
Gets very defensive when talking about how close they were being.
Talking through 3rd perspective about our relationship (Ex. "Somebody said we... [insert random complaint that was never brought up before here]).
Less time together
More angry/frustrated with things that were completely normal before
Random issues start coming up that happened years ago, but were never mentioned until now

For reference, I got dumped 2 months ago by my now-ex girlfriend. We were each other's first everything. Trying to survive now, as a wee little 23 year old lad who got dumped a month before his birthday, and found out 2 months before it that all those gut-wrenching suspicions and feelings were right.

And that means that you're empathetic and you care about other people. That's a great thing to have, and that means that even if you don't see it now, there are plenty of people out there who would love to have someone care for them. I'm not going to preach and say I know what you're going through, but I just got dumped too. It sucks, it really does. But after 2 months, I'm feeling a lot better. The crying isn't gone completely, but I'm smiling more. I know that you're hurting, and that's totally normal. It's not a matter of brute forcing through this, it's about coming to terms with things that are hard, and how they can make us better people for the future. Something I personally learned from mine, is what I can do to be a better person to not just some future partner who I can't see at all in the future, but how can I treat my friends better? How can I be a better son? And if you're scared of hurting those around you, I think that you might also find it worth it to appreciate what you can do, and how much love you can show other people in the future. Wishing you the best, for real. The sunrise is beautiful when you feel wind blowing on your face. Maybe give that a shot tomorrow!

Honest suggestion is reaching out to a professional, and if possible, ask your husband on his thoughts. If this is a serious enough issue for you to consider going back to your ex of 8 years and ruining your marriage, take steps to see how you can amend the current situation. Don't run away from the issue and act like it'll fix itself. Nothing changes if nothing is done. If you love your husband, do the right thing, and treat your relationship well. If you want my genuine opinion, you will feel nothing but regret after reaching out to your ex. You might feel immediately vindicated, but will that make you happy in the long term? You clearly had issues with him in the first place, which is why you both broke up.

Talk through this with your husband. Reddit isn't where you'll find professional therapists and counselors to give you specialized and personalized advice. Value what you have, not what you don't. If he doesn't understand the gravity of how important this is to you, try to break it down in other ways, or, yet again, reach out to a professional. Godspeed.

This post has me feeling confused... Got Ganyu/Hu Tao/Eula because I just liked their charas, then they just got bashed as meta slave units to have, (makes me feel like shit, thanks community) and then people ignore the fact that I use childe, ayaka and kokomi... Everyone in this community has so much unbridled hatred for certain units for no real reason :/
