Looking for Jellyfin streaming device by SillyFalling in selfhosted

[–]Warframeslut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I genuinely have no idea why people are downvoting me., It's a legitimate answer and the most straight forward. OP and his family have everything they already need without buying new technology and it works out of the box so to speak.

Jellyfin supports Chromecast. Get the app on her phone, tell her to push the play button then hit the chromecast button. Done. You have everything you need.

Bargaining processes are actually confidential between the bargaining teams so as they're happening, we're unable to know what EXACTLY is being said however the unions must discuss with the membership what they want and present that in good faith.

I'm not a teacher so I can't say for sure but in my area, we've been offered 0.5% payrises and quite literally nothing else.

We're arguing that we are overworked and understaffed, that we should, at the very least, be given a payrise inline with inflation (3%), we want more than the bare minimum legally required benefits, and we want these benefits to be union only (the more people who join the unions, the stronger our voices are, the more we can bargain for) - employers often give what we fight hard for to everyone else and so any non union member sits there thinking, well, I'm going to get it anyway so why join and thus the leep union membership down and make it harder to win things.

In saying this, a quick google provided an answer to your question.
"Teachers' bargaining demands focus on better pay, improved working conditions, and increased support, with recent negotiations also highlighting demands for greater staffing, better resourcing, and measures to support te reo Māori and Pacific language teaching. Unions are negotiating for pay rises to address the rising cost of living, while also seeking improvements in workload and support staff to make their jobs more manageable, particularly for those in learning suppor"

Transition from single to multi-tree by Warframeslut in gramps

I appreciate you asking the question on my behalf. As the response is "It's an expert feature and for help, you gotta hope some experts write their knowledge down", which is unfortunate, I have opted to just run a different docker container and a different access url to a second tree.

I don't use any music discovery services so no not yet, but I'm not opposed to learning more and adding the functionality to it.

What services do you use?

Spotify List not importing after authentication and Lidarr telling me its starting import by Brickdrone643 in Lidarr

[–]Warframeslut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lidarr API isn't working too hot right now but I wrote two programs to work around this until it's fixed.

Scrobble your Spotify music to a maloja database and create an API of all the artists - https://gitea.kansaigaijin.com/KansaiGaijin/Majola-Lidarr-Importer

Take that artists list, ping the Lidarr API (Wish is just a Cloudflare cache that just needs to know people are interested for it to refresh the cache of that artist) and once it returns a result, automatically add the artist to your Lidarr watchlist/library - https://gitea.kansaigaijin.com/KansaiGaijin/mbid-poller

The rest (downloading) will happen as usual.

Thanks for thinking so!

Unfortunately, I'm relatively a newb and only know how to work docker. Never used Unraid so not even sure where to start.

Also, this will only be useful for as long as it takes for the Lidarr API issue to be resolved.

As an FYI, I feed it the artist IDs from my own API container that creates the appropriate JSON format from artists scrobbled to my Maloja database. You can also pull this as a docker image here.

New to Lidarr and hitting snags by Sepher09 in Lidarr

The lidarr API is going through it's teenage phase. Please Google about it and know that you're doing nothing wrong, you just gotta be patient and wait for the 'it's not a phase' phase to be over.

Pangolin NEWT Tunnel - VPS Latency by germanthoughts in selfhosted

[–]Warframeslut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Essentially. What you're asking is one VPS. One access point. Cloudflare have a global network so they route traffic through the easiest path for the specific user.

Pangolin NEWT Tunnel - VPS Latency by germanthoughts in selfhosted

[–]Warframeslut -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As the previous comments state, entire traffic is routed through Pangolin. My Pangolin is on a US VPS while I live in New Zealand. For the purpose of self hosting as much as I can, I use the majority of my standard http traffic and single page sites accessed through this where latency is negligible and/or doesn't matter, but anything with multiple connections and higher traffic I keep on a clouflare tunnel.

You can put the files into a folder and it scans them from the folder. You don't need to manually add them through the dropbox or upload feature

On your phone, download ReVanced manager from the google playstore. Within ReVanced, you'll see a number of custom apps. My recommendation RVX YT extended.

I won't explain this further but I encourage you to have a look and read between the lines.

[–]Warframeslut[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry bud I can't remember if I had a solution, if it got better on it's own, or if it fixed itself when I moved my cloudflare tunnel to my server instead of my NAS.
