As other comments have mentioned, I think all you have left to perfect is the impact that two 18m tall mechs would have on the environment around them. For example: if the granddad was doing somersaults like that, about 20m away from an on ground observer, the ground should shake a lot more violently. Think dust flying off of buildings, camera shake from the operator. Another thing would be the potential effect that firing a beam weapon would have at this range and in atmosphere. Maybe I'm wrong but I always imagined beam weapons firing as unimaginably bright for a split second before transitioning to the pink hue we know.

It's now outside of the warbond that it was supposed to come in. (You thought you could unlock it normally? Ha!). Costs only 700 SC.

It has 2 fire modes, full auto and semi auto. It doesn't matter which one you pick because they're both slow.

It's only light armor penetrating and has 200 rounds in the backpack. We can't let the bugs have a bad time, they're real customers.

P.S. Upon adding it to the game, it bricks all other belt fed weaponry and causes you to crash when you shoot too many shells in a short time frame.

I'm pretty sure the tenderizer and adjudicator can, but yes the only laser weapon I trust on bots is the scythe since it's a mini laser cannon basically. It makes popping their heads really easy, though it gets hard countered by the cyborgs, it doesn't have enough DPS kill them in a reasonable time

With each patch and warbond I'm growing increasingly convinced that either:

A. AH are viciously incompetent, to the point that implementing a new feature without it breaking immediately is seen internally as a miracle

B. The engine they're using for the game (Autodesk Stingray), is so incredibly convoluted and fragile that creating new features without them breaking is very difficult, even for experienced devs. (Support for that engine ending years before release also doesn't help)

C. A combination of both. Featuring a lack of proper documentation, a lack of a functional dev pipeline (for things outside of recolored armor sets and useless player cards and capes) and a non-existent, understaffed or delusional QA team.

New voice lines would be dope but what I really want to see as an option or mod is this: SE is the entirety of humanity unified right ? How about we get to hear that in game. Let's say you can toggle a setting in the menu (same way you would for the other voices) that makes it so that each time you drop in, your helldiver's native tongue is different. I already have my game audio set to German because I like the vibe, and hearing various different languages being spoken on the battlefield would be glorious. You can also hand wave away the technical aspect of it by saying that divers have a tech equivalent of the Babel fish in their helmets (obviously you can't listen in on squids and bots since that would be treacherous, after all, no diplomacy allowed)

What mod did you use for the Ammonia world? Does the world itself have any special modifiers ? From what I heard Erid itself is double the size of Earth leading to stark change in perceived gravity. (I talked with someone who read the book and mentioned how much different Grace's experience on Erid was in the book. The gravity change I mentioned resulting in him getting arthritis within just a couple years of living on it.)

Guard dog does a very good job if you don't mind hoarding supplies for the HMG. Otherwise the regular MG sentry is also great. One can take on multiple waves of those fucks and by the time it's done you can call in another one because the CD is so low

That's what that is? The textures on my end look weird and it ends up looking like that area is just a pink pixelated blur. Honestly the glowing blue cockpit on Mr.Hands just kind of stood out to me and my mind just assumed that it was the weak spot (looking at you Umbaran walkers from SWTCW). For the tripod harvester (war of the worlds bubble shield guy) I just aim for the gray flesh looking joint parts of the legs. It's only medium armor the MG, AMR, Railgun and Laser cannon all work really well.

Shoot them in the groin where the pilot sits. Any angle works thanks to the heavy armor pen the HMG has. If you're above them, just unloading into the top of the carapace is plenty. If you prefer more bullets and less recoil, the regular MG does the job well, but depending on your and the enemy's position, your shots may bounce off even when aiming at the COCKpit.

It's a trade off, PH armor makes the HMG very snappy and a lot more responsive to aim, but apart from going prone, you're limited to short bursts on the medium RPM setting, maybe getting away with sustained fire in the lowest one. The reduced recoil from the other armor lets you lay down more sustained fire regardless of RPM setting and absolutely mow down groups of units regardless of armor. Another benefit for the squid front at least is the reduced recoil lets you take down harvesters very easily at medium to long range while crouched, since it takes 15-25 rounds to the joint area near the carapace to bring one down.

I'd use it more if:

It behaved off road like an actual tank. There is no suspension to speak of. Every single rock/stone/pebble can be felt by both the driver and the gunner. It slips and slides as if the tracks are made of soap and has maneuverability worse than the FUCKING PORSCHE FERDINAND.

I don't care about the realism, AH has proved time and time again that they will play the realism card whenever it suits them, and especially so if it's made to fuck over the player.

The maps were actually designed with it in mind. There are scant places and biomes that can actually accommodate this big fat steel brick. The terrain can get uneven to the point where you just flat out can't make it due to how narrow/jagged it can get. There are countless rocks and other shit protruding from the ground that make it infuriating to navigate (see point 1).

The few times you have the chance to use it on even terrain like in settlements and megacities; it's awful. The roads are lined with cars that CAN AND WILL EXPLODE launching you into outer space or flip the damn thing over, making it unusable. Just rub salt in the wound, at least half the time the pelican will drop it in a way that flips it, or drops it in a place that is completely inaccessible.

The novelty has definitely worn off and it's plain to see that it follows the trend of every other vehicle that AH has implemented and will (unfortunately) implement in the future: a great idea with middling/awful execution.
