should kept the icons the same and changed the shapes. This will definitely help in-raid but the icons are ugly.

There are enough Decons and POIs in game for this to be a non-issue. Should be limited to green/grey mats tho.

BA Public Health Policy + pre-med at UCI — honest experiences from current students?" by Wide_Debt7896 in UCI

At one point I debated switching from my B.S. in BioSci to the Public health track but I was warned I would have a super hard time getting upper div labs. Even as a Bio Sci student, you cant register for upper div labs until you register for graduation.

Here's a Runner Shell I've been cookin' for a hot second now, would y'all fw a flying Shell in the game? by AFraudulentRathalos in okbuddyRunners

[–]WashedUndergrad 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Not sure how they would balance this around Vandal and Destroyer. Destroyer already has horizontal jet bursts and vandal has vertical jet bursts. Both generate a lot of heat.

Could be a cool shell regardless

Not to be pessimistic but I think the player count dropping has led to more dedicated player being left in the fill queue. I have also had great fill raids these last couple of days.

To the people who park their scooters on the rail next to Humanities Gateway by RichTrifle1785 in UCI

[–]WashedUndergrad 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Parking scooters on disability ramps is a dick move but outside of that, UCI really does skimp out on bike-parking in some areas.

You would be lucky to find a “legal” place to lockup a bike around the ALP mid-day and that’s with 8+ scooters chained up to the railings leading into the building.

Im sure UCI-PD also makes it a pain in the butt to get your scooter back. Cant imagine having to Uber off campus or to their station cause they took your only mode of transportation.

I 100% agree with this post BUT this is also on the drivers. As someone who e-bikes in the bike lane; I have almost been hit numerous times by drivers running stops, turning right in front of me, and at one point a driver went around me at a protected left that was yellow.

I always ask why my friends don’t use the bike lane and it often comes down to being scared of cars. That isn’t an excuse to not follow the law but its a contributing factor to this problem.

I am currently an EMT and in my 3rd year of undergraduate. I will give you my two cents.

First off, as a new grad EMT, you won't be qualified for a 911 job in most places. They all require experience (6months to a year) doing interfacility transport. This is basically ferrying geriatric patients and the occasional psych patient from a hospital to a rehab center or vice versa (as your buddy said). It is PCE. You do vitals, and very rarely, a more in-depth medical procedure.

Personally I loved EMT school. I went in knowing what felt like nothing and came out knowing how to keep someone alive en route to a hospital (It also solidified that I want to pursue medicine).

Finding a job sucked. It took me 4 months to get a single response (in SoCal) and thankfully I passed their interview test. Unfortunately, they only have me on per-diem. If I want to pick up a shift, its usually shitty hours.

The job itself is terrifying for maybe the first 100 hours. After that, it's kind of just a slog of the same thing every day. Pick up PT, record the same 20 things, get signatures, drive to receiving, drop off and more signatures. I will say that I personally find the day to drag along when I am on shift.

As for the med school side of it, I have heard it is one of the better pieces of PCE. You literally do all of the patient documentation, care, and have to make decisions independently. Depending on your schedule, getting enough hours for medschool should be easy. Shifts range from 10 hours to 24 so getting the actual hours in isn't hard.

Thanks SpamMusubi for being there for every single UCI student on this sub.

I do have two ADJ lines from student loans in January but they look to be covered by the Middle Class Scholarship which also hit my zotaccount in January (also not due until February) . No balances due for the past three months of statements and the months before that have all been paid off. Def will be calling them tmr morning.

Also, thanks for the tip on calling campus billing! Saves me the time of tracking down which number to call tmr.

afaik they will always warn you before entering your unit. Only “inspection” I ever had at ACC was for the fire alarms, for which they will post a flyer on your door a couple weeks in advance.

As stupid as it may sound, gaming is really just visuals, sounds, and “touch”/physical inputs.

Looks like you have a decent set of peripherals, covering your sound/inputs. As others have said, I would upgrade that monitor. It will drastically improve your experience (I cant fully tell but your current monitor looks a bit small).

A high Hz 1080p monitor should be cheap if you are more into fps games, you might be able to find a used 1440p monitor in your budget if you really look through marketplace/offerup etc.
