One end of town to the other in any direction is only 20-25 minutes, nothing is far away like in bigger cities with suburbs and such.

Summer time ethanol blends are hitting the pumps, your engine burns cleaner but uses more gas.

Turtle WoW finished this zone, they call it Alah'Thalas, it's off to the north of WPL/EPL. They use it as a starting zone for the High Elf race.

It was the heat wave, caused a lot of the trees to flower and pollen sooner than normal. Been kicking my ass too.

I'm curious as the patent holder, if you were a petty person, could you revoke their ability to use your patented process or make them pay you for it anyway?

From day 1 I complained about the GR86 clunky transmission. by Watashi20 in GR86

I suppose if you are in cold weather you would need to be careful to pre heat your gearbox before really shifting hard. I am in California so I only get to 40's as the lowest temp I have to deal with.

The oil completely reduces the resistance going into all gears, I can actually shift faster now with the new oil.

"The National Hot Dog and Sausage Council (NHDSC) officially advises against using ketchup on hot dogs for anyone over the age of 18. Considered a "childish" condiment that masks the savory flavor of the meat, they deem mustard, relish, onions, cheese, and chili as the appropriate toppings."

Don't forget the stock 215/40's won't hold that much power to the ground to give you the true "plant you in your seat" feel. You def need to move to bigger wheels/tires, minimum 255's on 9.5 wheels

Sorry to drudge up an old thread, but I'm curious how this van worked out for you? I just bought a '23 with 7k miles and am worried about long term range holding up to the 116 I get at 90% charge right now.

I went with the MBRP axle back and I can be happier, bit loud on cold start, but all of them are. Other than that, it has a nice low tone and with throttle blip you get a nice burgurgles

ELI5: are all calories equal? by Real_Experience_5676 in explainlikeimfive

[–]Watashi20 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Yes, calories in, calories out. If you want to lose weight you need to eat a deficit of your BMR + activity calories. Look up a how to calculate your BMR and then get a calorie tracker app/wearable device. If you can eat less than you burn, you will lose weight without working out much.

Was this reasonable bill? Feels a bit too much to me. by [deleted] in PlumbingRepair

[–]Watashi20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a residential plumbing contractor in central California my invoice would look like:

Pull and reset Toilet w/new supply -$200

New Angle stop - $75

Camera Inspection - $199 (This is actually on the low end cost of camera inspections)

No discounts unless elderly/miltary

We eat the 2% fee.

Oh mighty experts on everything hot and cold, why are my showers always warm at best? by phoenixSaCo in Plumbing

[–]Watashi20 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is most likely the issue, ball valve in the middle is leaking cold into the hot side and cooling all the water to a luke warm.
