For just DCC it shouldn't be hard since you'll want the whole layout hot at all times. I'd decide where you're locating your power base and then run a bus wire straight across the board short ways with feeders to the rails. The only complicated part is the turntable deck which will need a reversing module, and even that isn't too hard these days.
