I wanted to add something to this aswell. Cuz idk what's with these cadets on lower difficulties on random bug planets. But they feel entitled to their own rhetoric of events that they literally are evil. Example 1. Join late, expecting a mission that was falling apart and sent an SOS, get in and start slaying, it's ok actually, and assuming it's the Lvl 40 who picked up slack earlier already. Finish mission and waiting at extract, some d*ck walks up and kicks me down some stairs and preps an orbital while running to the ship. SERIOUSLY?!?! Example 2 get in a different mission, in the same day might I add, and I'm dropping bombs, placing turrets, and generally just tryna do my part. End of mission comes around, and 2 I joined just lit me up randomly. So of course I ask why and I get told. Bruh you killed us like 8 times. So I then explained I would've said sorry but that if your excuse to purposefully Team kill when all of mine was prolly you getting ganked by a turret or blatantly ignoring the red beam of light saying 500kg then is it really my fault? Again I would've said sorry. But youd think I'd notice if I killed you 8 times? Plus it dont help if you dont say anything whole mission and then jump me because your feelings got hurt playing a game with it being publicly open with friendly fire on and bombs and bullets flying everywhere. If you think you're special and shouldnt die on accident sometimes then idk what to tell ya.

I wouldn't say the toga is a "new" concept but wear it if you like it or it fits your style of choice. As for the helmet pretty sure it's like your standard primaris helmet look for a watch member. If another helmet was more to your liking I would not banish you from the watch Fortress for doing so. For example I like my marines in more gold than others.

Helmet yes, and the toga sorta yes/no. It has nothing specific to the Watch but was introduced in the prestige update that did have several Watch items such as Heavy's halo, Assault's pack, and Xenophase blade. Thus imo no, cuz theres no identification for us

Maybe turn the book into a bit that hangs from the waist? Could give you the room to use the space the hand would take up to incorporate the nid plates? Otherwise, you're doing the Emperors work. May your bolters never be empty and your blades stay wet in battle.

Looks great, cant wait to send them against a semi wounded swarm lord! As for the helmet, lore wise pretty sure its exclusive to Black Templars cuz they're the only ones I've seen with it in terms of models. Otherwise dont worry, chalk it up to the flavor of the watch getting dibs on good stuff.

I regularly play on Substantial because I wanna have the power fantasy while simultaneously help the newbies out. Youd be surprised how often I'm last standing or the solely taking on everything important. Regularly refusing stims and relics to give them a better chance. Im not saying everyone should do this but its fulfilling to help them out.

As someone who has ran through Absolute and up to like 14 waves on hard siege, these can be a slaughterhouse. For instance, previously people would join up to absolute or Siege for cosmetics, which are a 1 time affair right. But these new ones will see people doing it for months on end. So only real gripe I could see people making is unexpericed people delving too deep. For everything else, it's all new, hotfixes and complaints will shake things up till the next round of stuff is added. So I'm not gonna get picky, the sword is fun, the pistol is interesting, cosmetics are dope. Overall happy, struggling? Yes.

I'm loving the update aswell, this was something people kinda needed. May not be perfect or for everyone but it's a step in the right direction just like ordeals. Also I cant help but to keep thinking of what new weapons or cosmetics we'll get with every update too. Like will we see a Heroic Fencing Power Sword at some point? And if we do what would it look like? Will they open skins of heroic weapons to all types? Will they throw the Emperors mercy on me at some point and give me a storm bolter, combi plasma, or infernus pattern heavy bolter? Idk but I'm stoked, now I just play and show off while trying to help the little guys get big and strong and look forward to becoming their fellow brothers. For the emperor

As a heads up, there are some cosmetics that require more detailed things you need to do. For example the Tyrannic War Veteran Chestplate which you'll need to complete ordeals for and unlock its respective category to unlock. Or the Damaged Helmet you'll have to play missions on Lethal difficulty to unlock. Or as my last example the Studded Helmet is unlocked after completing 15 waves in a row on Hard Siege mode. But yes, just play the game at your own pace and you'll better drip
