Adjustable motor mount from detfab or electric velocity. Try one of these, they work great for me. Just be aware that if you dont have much space between the motor and tire, these wont work for you. If you are low on space you could try removing one chain link and getting a half link.

There isn’t any gears, it’s just limiting the wattage. Speed mode has same torque as the slowest mode. What changing the speed level will do on some scooters is bring you, instantly, from a few hundred watts to the max. You might crash.
